A tag has been placed on Danny Wimmer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Possible conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Spuderman. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:24, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Potential deletion of Danny Wimmer

[edit]

(Cross-posting this here from Talk:Danny Wimmer as that page may be deleted before you see the response. Your question there was "I am just wanting to make sure I am properly taking care of this living person wikipedia page, as it was deleted and redirected to another page. The person does not have an already active page detailing their history or career. I want to make sure the page is not deleted again and that I am following all the rules, as I have read them. Thank you for responding.")

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm not an administrator, but I am an experienced editor. At the moment, this article looks likely to be deleted again because it doesn't obviously meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Wikipedia doesn't have articles on everyone and everything; things need to meet our notability requirements before we have an article on them. If it does get deleted, I'd recommend having a read of our advice for writing your first article before trying again – I know it's frustrating to have your work seemingly undone, so having an idea of Wikipedia's policies will hopefully avoid future similar deletions. —me_and 17:07, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
