Hi SpecialWindler,

I just wanted to let you know that I finally got around to adding the category to all articles. Sorry it took me so long. I've just been way too busy and, on top of that, wasn't around for a few days after July 4th. Hope you have a good Sunday. :)

Re: 2006 grand final

Sorry for the late reply, but I've been away for nearly the past two weeks. As for more Grand Final pictures - sadly I have none. I don't have a digital camera with decent zoom so where I am seated for matches is too far away for close-ups. When I do get my hands on one I'll head out to the SFS with it for sure and upload them onto here.
One thing I did notice when I get back was the new style of club infobox. I'm really not too sure if too many entires in it is a good thing at all - I have always had the belief that infoboxes should be as brief as possible and shouldn't take up more than one full screen. The other thing is a field that was removed "mgtitle" or something to that effect. I do believe in England they call their coaches "managers", so I think we should re-insert that back in. As for the infobox style, maybe we should have a discussion back on the WikiProject talk page. Thoughts? mdmanser 09:55, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Bond films

What is Vikrant doing? I've had to revert countless bad edits on films. E.g on Octopussy - "Govinda was scared on the plane". He has been rmeoving some important stuff and messing up the articles on bond women ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 20:33, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Whats going on with the vehicles and gadgets? How can an article on Goldfinger not mention the Aston Martin with the ejector seat?? Vehicles and gadgets are an essential ingredient to any Bond film -shouldn't this be restored and written into writing? Who decided to get rid of it? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 11:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Re:Goldfinger peer review

Yeah, I've been keeping up on that and I saw Awadewit's review. I've been working on a couple other things, which is why I haven't been over at Goldfinger lately. However, I'll be on the lookout for books like the ones Awadewit suggested so that we can get Goldfinger closer to FA status. I appreciate your keeping me informed, nonetheless. Vikrant Phadkay

We're going to have to do something about User:Vikrant Phadkay -its getting worse ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 13:24, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm seriously losing patiemce with him -everywhere I look - why has Mr Vikram merged Mary Goodnight into an article named List of Bond Girls in The Man with the Golden Gun which has only her!!! Ahhh! He has also begun moving soundtrack even before plot!!!! -No film on wikipedia mentions the soundtrack before plot - but other project members don't seem to care what he doing. ♦ Blofeld the Bald ♦ "Expecting you?" 22:06, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Well you were only trying to sort out what he had done by standardising it. I'm sorry but I really believe characters like Pussy Galore and Honey clearly deserve articles in their own right, as with many of the others. The fact I can't get a response from him just tells me he is purposely trying to conflict with people ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 22:15, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Vesper Lynd

Hi,

You recently reverted List of Bond girls in Casino Royale back to Vesper Lynd now someone called User:David Pro has reverted it back again.

Anyone want any bets that User:David Pro and User:Vikrant Phadkay are the one and the same and that one is merely the sock puppet of the other ?

They need to be excluded from the James Bond Project.

Hi,

I gave my support to moving the articles back.

Tovojolo 09:01, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

In stupidity we have now lost the article on Solange (James Bond) which I've now restored - I fail to see that even this article is a tiny stub?. From Russia With Love is looking good though and so it ought to with the frantic editing the last few days!! Great ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you?" Contribs 19:38, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi,

How are James Bond films and novels chosen for collaboration ?

I was wondering if we could have Casino Royale (1967 film) as a collaboration effort as the film is increasingly viewed as an epic, comic satire of the whole James Bond genre.

Tovojolo 20:37, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me the procedure. I've nominated it and hope it gets chosen one day.

My 'stop flooding' message

Hi. Just in response to your comment on my talk page regarding the bots. I'm aware the bots won't read them, but I left messages on the bot owner's pages, both of which indicated they reply to messages and automatically watch the talk pages of anyone who leaves them messages. So that was addressed for their eyes when and if they did that. The fact neither had the decency to reply pretty much sums things up. I'm just going to let them continue to flood my talk page until the server implodes. Every image I had was kosher when I uploaded it and all have fair use rationale. I don't acknowledge nor accept the change of rules that have resulted in 99.99% of images on Wikipedia being declared illegal. I barely post here anymore, anyway. 23skidoo 01:33, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Vikrant Phadkay

If you look at Wikipedia:WikiProject James Bond/Collaboration of the fortnight, you'll see he tried to vote twice.

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do, but please do not alter the quote. It is a direct quote from The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show and yes, I know a lot of people are not football fans (I'm not one either), but I figured a well-known quote was better than some random statement. -- Scorpion0422 16:05, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

You can do what you like, but I think the point of a userbox is lost if you can dictate what it says. -- Scorpion0422 22:15, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Melbourne Storm

I've added a new stadium section for the Melbourne Storm page upon the request of the Good Article nominator. I haven't included the references (so I won't accidentally ruin consistency in that department). With regards to expanding the history for the non-1999 seasons - I'm with you. There is very little point of adding more in given it is rather superfluous and isn't too notable at all. I'll leave the rest to you - good luck with it all. mdmanser 09:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Leagueicon

Hey, nice work with ordering the SVG colour files. Could I just ask for one favour though - if we are going to start introducing the leagueicon template everywhere, would we reduce the number of names that it accepts for a colour to come out (e.g. only Eastern Suburbs and only Canberra)? I only ask this because it does reduce loading time dramatically on pages, and this is especially noticeable when you're on a slower connection. Secondly perhaps because it may be feasible for a bot to change every single image over to the new format if names are kept the same. If it is able to recognise Eastern Suburbs colours.png for example, then it could easily move over to the new Leagueicon|Eastern Suburbs format. Just a bit of thought ahead of time if this is the way we're going to go. Secondly, what are your thoughts on nominating those two lists for featured status? I wouldn't mind some project feedback first. Cheers, mdmanser 05:01, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Nominations

Hi,

I'm confused.

We're in a new period so I thought the old nominations had failed and new nominations would take their place.

I didn't know you would carry on with old nominations.

I simply deleted my vote for Moonraker as I didn't know.

Can you make it clear in the rules that old nominations are simply carried forward into a new nomination period ?

Thanks,

Commons Colors

Great, I'll work on those later.

I did look into how the commons handles images that should be SVG. They use {Convert to SVG} or for short, {SVG} for images that should be SVG, placing them into commons:Category:Images_that_should_use_vector_graphics. If you find more, you can tag them on commons, and I'll try to remember to look there as well. HeavyD14 20:08, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
