Speedy deletions
[edit]Snowstormer,
I noticed you tagged list of human genes on chromosome 10 and list of human genes on chromosome 3 for speedy deletion under criteria A1 (insufficient context). However, that didn't really apply: the titles made clear the user wanted to create lists of the genes on the specified chromosomes, which are perfectly valid subjects for articles. The real issue is that those lists already exist in the articles for those chromosomes (e.g. chromosome 10 (human)#Genes), so I instead turned the new articles into redirects and added the gene listed on each to the main article.
Just something to keep in mind for the future. Happy editing!—Neil P. Quinn (talk) 17:16, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
Newlyn
[edit]I've declined your speedy as I think there is context given. As I don't think that notability is shown, I've prodded it instead. (Schools can't be speedied for lack of notability for some reason that I don't know.) I've given some advice to the creator about their name and notability. Rollbacker
[edit]I have granted rollback rights to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. 15:10, 18 January 2015 (UTC)– Gilliam (talk)
JavaScript RegExp problem
[edit]I noticed you have experience in JavaScript. I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I've run into writing a userscript.
Please see my post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject JavaScript#Nested RegExp.
Thank you. The Transhumanist 12:26, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
Lust for Life (Lana Del Rey album)
[edit]Hello! You have removed "Summer Bummer" and "Groupie Love" from the infobox and from "singles" paragraph. I'm not sure that those two songs can be considered commercial singles, but you could've explained the reason why you deleted those informations. I and other users have discussed about the singles (Talk:Lust for Life (Lana Del Rey album)#Promotional singles) and you could've participated in the discussion.Ikcir (talk) 12:16, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
