Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Khalistan. Please be more careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --vi5in[talk] 16:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR report

[edit]

Gnanapiti filed a 3RR report regarding your recent edits to the pages Khalistan movement and Khalistan. If you reverted edits to that page four or more times within a period of 24 hours then you have violated Wikipedia's three revert rule. The best course of action to take in this case is to self-revert to the previous version of the page and discuss the editing dispute on the article talkpage. If you feel you did not violate the 3RR rule then you may post here. If you have any questions you can contact me on my talkpage. Perspicacite 05:22, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Due to your long-term and ongoing edit warring over Khalistan I have blocked this account for 72 hours. You may appeal the block via the usual avenues. ~ Riana 02:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Religious hatred

[edit]

Your edit summary was "User 90.192.59.194 spreading religious hatred against Sikhs again (Check all his edits) this is an offence in the UK and USA and you can be prosecuted)". I have two problems with this; first, spreading religious hatred is not a crime in the United States, and is in fact protected under the First Amendment. Secondly, Wikipedia policy is to avoid legal threats, because it makes it harder to create an encyclopedic based on volunteers working together. Please work within Wikipedia instead of making legal threats.--Prosfilaes (talk) 22:55, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just as Prosfilaes has said please dont make legal threats, but out of my professional curiosity I would like to know under which Act/rule 'spreading religious hatred' specifically 'against Sikhs' is an offence in UK & US? LegalEagle (talk) 02:28, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the details on religious hatred

Deletion of References

[edit]

I would like to know why any references that describe Sikhs are removed and replaced by an extreme Indian view?. Only today the BJP and Congress are accussing each other of being involved in terrorism

AfD nomination of Sikh extremism

[edit]

An article recently created on Sikhs, i.e. Sikh extremism, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sikh extremism. Thank you. Singh6 (talk) 08:44, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
