Notability of Simon richards

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Simon richards) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Notability of Tim Woodman

A tag has been placed on Tim Woodman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. OverlordQ 20:49, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:41927588 brown203.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:41927588 brown203.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:05, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:41927588_brown203.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:41927588_brown203.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:20, 13 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- SteinbDJ · talk · contributions 20:20, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles, as you did to Reading Fans and Woking F.C., you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. robwingfield «TC» 06:17, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions, such as those you made to Red Blue Army, do not assert the notability of their subjects and have been reverted or removed. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) for further details. If you wish to appeal this article's deletion, you may do so at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Please note that recreating this article without having the deletion overturned beforehand may lead to editing blocks for disruption. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:18, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Block message:

[[Wikipedia:Autoblock|Autoblocked]] because your IP address was recently used by "[[User:Robwingfieldisatwatandawanker|Robwingfieldisatwatandawanker]]". The reason given for Robwingfieldisatwatandawanker's block is: "{{usernameblock}}".

Decline reason: Looking at the editing history of both yourself and Robwingfieldisatwatandawanker (talk contribs), it's clear that both of these accounts belong to the same person. Wikipedia:Sock puppetry prohibts the use of multiple accounts, so I'm upholding this 24 hour block. If you're caught violating this policy again you may find yourself blocked for longer or indefinitely from Wikipedia. --  Netsnipe  ►  17:31, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aldershot11515gallery.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Article rating for Aldershot Town F.C.

[edit]

I'm sorry, but I think the Aldershot Town F.C. article is some way short of being "A" rated as per your recent edit. There are no inline citations or references at all in the article, and no pictures other than the club badge used to illustrate it. - fchd 16:44, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Aldershot11515gallery.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Strangerer (Talk) 11:59, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: It's nice to know you're here

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that It's nice to know you're here meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/It's nice to know you're here. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 06:46, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles or before discussions about the title have ended, as you did to The Enclyopedia of Tinpot, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jameboy (talk) 00:02, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for Pagemove vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Woody (talk) 00:19, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
