Waltham Fields Community Farm is a nonprofit organization and is based around a CSA model, which stands for Community-supported Agriculture . A CSA model allows members of the surrounding community to invest in the local agriculture. Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, the Waltham Fields Community Farm is an extension of the branches of the University of Massachusetts, and is formally named the UMass College of Agriculture. The farm is dedicated to providing local hunger relief and promoting sustainable agriculture. It also encourages Waltham schools to become involved volunteering on the farm to educate students of its benefits.
