Free Agent Frenzy
First and foremost, thank you for your help! You're right on top of all of these signings! Secondly, would you please try to keep the formatting as you edit, (ie. alternating background colours in the table), as well as in the edit summary, just list the signing you are adding, (ie. DAL signs Radulov). Those will both make the inevitable cleanup that comes after the frenzy much, much easier! Cheers, keep it up! –uncleben85 (talk) 16:52, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Andrés Indriðason
Here is an English translation of the source that you provided. Please show me where it states that he died on 10 July. Thanks, WWGB (talk) 04:02, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
Andrés Indriðason has died
11.07.2020 - 17:50
Andrés Indriðason, programmer, writer and filmmaker has died at the age of 78. Andrés worked for over half a century on television programming and was involved in various of the RÚV's most popular programs.
He also wrote a number of popular books and his plays were staged both on stage and on the radio. Andrés also wrote the script and directed the film The Fishing Trip.
Andrés was born in Reykjavík on August 7, 1941. His parents were Indriði Jóhannsson, a police officer, and Jóna Kristófersdóttir. He leaves behind a wife, Valgerður Ingimarsdóttir, two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
Andrés had worked for a year as a journalist at Morgunblaðið and as a teacher when he saw advertisements for people to work for Sjónvarpina, a year before he started working. "I spoke to the managing director, Pétur Guðfinnsson, who was the only employee who had been hired. I asked him what the job was like and he said he was not sure, but it was something to do with the recordings. "
This is how Andrés described the beginning when the RÚV news agency spoke to him on October 2, 2015. Andrés had worked for RÚV for half a century. Andrés was one of two programmers who were hired at the beginning, the other was Tage Ammendrup. They and other employees of the prospective television station were sent to Denmark to study with the Danish state radio. Half a century later, Andrés was still there and the turning point was celebrated with a cake in the corridors of Ríkisútvarp. There was no travel format for Andrés. "Skarphéðinn [Guðmundsson, TV program director] said that I would get a cake next time I turned 60," said Andrés and laughed.
During a more than half-century career in programming on Ríkisútvarpið, Andrés was involved in the production of a number of episodes and documentaries. Among other things, he wrote plays for Our Hour in the early seventies, and two of their characters had a long life with the nation. They were Glámur and Skrámur, interpreted by Halla and Laddi and in the form of dolls designed by Gunnar Baldursson. They immediately broke through in Our Hour, were released on an album a year later and then appeared in various films for the next decades. "I think I will forget the first New Year's purchase late. It was in those days when it was not possible to stop the recorder, it was not possible to cut anything together, it just rolled for a whole hour, "said Andrés in an interview with Helgarpóstinn in 1985 when he discussed his work. After the first acquisition, Andrés had to work on many New Year's purchases, either as a recording manager or author. The high school quiz Guess Better are some of the longest-running episodes on television in this country. Andrés directed them for more than two decades, from 1991 to 2012. He was in charge of their programming and directed their recordings and broadcasting for a long time, and had a great influence on the development of the competition. In 1980, the film The Fishing Trip premiered. Andrés wrote the script for the film and directed it.
Popular writer
Andrés has published a number of books and his plays have been performed on stage and in radio theaters throughout the Nordic countries. He focused on writing books for children and adolescents. "Then it was in '79 that I sent a story in a competition that Mál og menning organized," Lyklabarn ", and fell into the lottery to receive a prize. It was a huge boost for me. From then on it was like turning off a tap, I poured myself into writing, "said Andrés in an interview published in Helgarpóstur in 1985, when he quit his regular job at Sjónvarpina to devote himself to writing, although with the opportunity to do programming as a developer. The competition that Andrés mentioned was held on the occasion of the United Nations Year of the Child.
Later he was to win the Reykjavík Education Council's Children's Book Prize for the book Polli er ekki blávatn, the Námsgagnastofnun's prize in a competition for light reading material for children for the book His other books include Want to Start with Me, Trendy Type on Fasting, Just Styles, Fourteen ... Soon Fifteen and Stellar Styles. Cat in the Swamp was Andrés' first play to be staged at the National Theater in 1974. He was to write a number of plays, not least for radio.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give created with obvious typo a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Draft:Untitled Tron: Legscy sequel. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Endorsements
Hello! I just wanted to let you know based on your comments on the Biden page, that hosting a fundraiser does not count as an endorsement as per Wikipedia:Political endorsements and WP:ERFC. Just wanted to let you know. Your recent edits adding the Inkpot category fail WP:CATV, which requires that categories be supported in the article prose and by a reliable secondary source. - I am about a third of the way through checking cites, and have already found numerous problems. It's hard slogging, and it looks like I may be forced to take longer than a week for the entire review. If you are going to try to mend this article into passing review, you might give thought to getting started.Georgejdorner (talk) 16:36, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- I have just completed the review. Unfortunately, the article failed the review. Sources do not indicate primary production has begun. Fails WP:NFF.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The Right Stuff Disney Plus
I restored the reference. It's a legitimate reference. It's also more recent the the Deadline article. It's been renewed. However, it says pending as of now because clearly you have an issue with that. Do you have a specific issue with the more recent reference? If so, can you tell me what it is? Thank you. I'm also bringing it up on the talk page because I believe it should say, renewed. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 20:24, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

HBO Max films
Hello again. I noticed you recently deleted films on the HBO Max originals page because they're also being released in theaters. Netflix originals are frequently released in theaters first yet still appear on the Netflix page. Perhaps this is because thy are produced by Netflix Studios, which I understand. I think the films being released on HBO Max at the same time as theaters should be on the page somehow. Do you believe there is a way to incorporate them into another list or something? Maybe released on Max and theaters simultaneously. Something like that but cleaner? Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 21:11, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's what I figured and I completely understand your point. However, I still believe they should be incorporated. I don't know how much weight this holds but as a subscriber to HBO Max I read that article today and then went to the Wikipedia page in order to see what films were being released and when. I was disappointed to not see them there and I also noticed Wonder Woman was missing. I noticed your deletion and the reasoning which I understand and is even clearer after your further explanation. I just highly doubt I am alone and I'm sure just like myself most who go to these pages go for this information. And so I'm hoping there's a way to include and present it in a way that is appropriate and works with Wikipedia policy. A way to include them and at the same time specify what they are. For example, Warner Brothers films released same day on HBO Max. Can we do this? Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 21:47, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- I want to let you know I've started a section on the talk page for this now, since another editor added them back and there appears to be disagreement. Thank you. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 04:26, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Since it's closed
Hiya,
Since it's closed now, I'm going to say one last thing.
You ignored several good arguments so that my last resort was using (excuse my french) bs arguments. You don't know I'm wrong, however, you kept saying that a billion times. At one moment in the discussion, I was feeling like I could give you: Rupp, Melamed, Disney and Marvel on tape all saying those roles were guest-roles and you still would consider it to not be correct. This is the last thing, I'll say about this topic. At least until the last episode is released, then I shall reassess and return to the talk page. To hopefully have a discussion in which you will not shove all my arguments aside but try to be civil. Wishing you well.

I don't have a citation for proof but I think the person who mentioned the Inverters Day Presentation has the source for the proof. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 12:12, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Move reverted
I have reverted your move of Captain Tom to Captain Thomas Moore- this article name was discussed with a proper requested move with consensus to use Captain Tom. A new RM would therefore be needed to change the article from this. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:40, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

The article When You Finish Saving the World (upcoming film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable future film, created too early fails WP:NFF. Should have been drafted until release.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Donaldd23 (talk) 12:05, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

Are working titles relevant at all? I don't think so but some anonymous user keeps adding it to the page. I've brought it up on the talk page but of course he's not discussing it. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 20:40, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you. Also I don't know if you noticed but she added it again unfortunately. With an IMDB ref. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 21:22, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I should report her as I reverted her three times, although I've backed off for a while now. I've tried to explain to her but it's clear she doesn't get it. Are you comfortable reporting her? Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 22:22, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- She's been warned by admin now. I don't know if someone reported her or not but it seems they're on top of it. Thanks for the help. It probably needs to be reverted again but at this point I'm not sure I should do it. I've also directed her to the talk page, so if she chimes in there your input would be appreciated. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 22:42, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. I think it'll be ok. She's arguing with the admin too now. She's saying she's not edit warring, that she should be able to include IMDB as a ref, and that the working title is relevant no matter who disagrees with her. She is also now claiming she's editing on behalf of the producer of the film. And while I'm skeptical of the claim, it would be a clear conflict of interest. I have provided her links on Wikipedia policy obtaining to all the above as well as consensus and relevancy as has the admin but it doesn't seem to matter. We'll see what happens. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 23:27, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
She has now chimed in on the talk page. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 23:31, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Re another user
re the messages you sent to Bruno, I wanted to say, I felt similar frustration with articles re entertainment. he is right with wanting to add them, but yeah, its kind if frustrating to think when we're about to create and edit it, poof, edit conflicts. I do admitadlly want my name as initial creation edit but I guess I will have to continue biting my tongue. Starzoner (talk) 20:42, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- ah yeah, agreed with you. Its really annoying. I subscribe to The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline Hollywood, and Variety. I get the email, then think of creating them, but then realize he already created them almost immediately after the time stamp. He got mad me so much that he tried to report me to admins a second time now because he felt I'm sabotaging.... something. Basically, it was him wanting no competition to him creating articles and taking the initial credit. Like, for the page Draft:Untitled Pet Sematary prequel, I created it a few minutes after he did, yet I added much more content, but he just straight copy pasted the edits to his page and acted like it was supposed to be his own. sigh.
- Also, He's banned on the Spanish Wikipedia for persistently violating his editing restriction on movies and tv. Perhaps his recently "surge" of edits is a "relief of stress" albiet in a VERY poor manner. I'm really aggravated and keep biting my tongue, as it could get me in trouble. it seems. I'll just stick to my own productive manner.Starzoner (talk) 00:37, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- Its not block evasion unless he's blocked on this wiki but he did try to "cite" his edits from Jan 1 to 4th when he made a failed unblock request. and lol, he replied to my messages. Its clear he obsessively follows me, something given over the recent days, is close to a violation of WP:HOUNDING, but since no admin acted on the thread on Admin's noticeboard, it means I have to put up with his frenzy. If he did want to contribute obsessively, he can start work on putting an article to WP:DYK or WP:GoodArticle Starzoner (talk) 01:17, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

Zeros and Ones
Hello Rusted AutoParts,
I'd like to have your advice if you don't mind. Almost a month ago, I created a draft on an upcoming film titled Draft:Zeros and Ones (film). A day after the draft was created, someone else wrote an article about that particular film, only it was titled Zeros and Ones. I successfully nominated that article for deletion since it failed WP:NFF and WP:NYF. Therefore, should I rename Draft:Zeros and Ones (film) to Draft:Zeros and Ones per WP:PRECISION? I could really use expert feedback. Thanks. Hitcher vs. Candyman (talk) 20:07, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Why?
I honestly don't understand why you did this and then this. If you are not aware you should refrain from intervening. I create the draft one day before the other user. It was the other user who, instead of redirecting his draft to mine, decided to make a couple of page movements in order to make room for his draft. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 19:57, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Here you can see how without any problem I deleted the content of my draft and redirected it to this one when I realized that there was already another one created previously. He would have done the same and avoid these types of conflicts. You even just created a draft before me and I just sent to delete mine without problem. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 20:06, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- So whats your issue about Cocaine Bear? Another editor make a better detailed draft at the target location, why not just move anything else you can add there. Why didn’t you just request speed deletion of yours instead of adding more to yours so you can scupper the other editor’s version? You getting too hung up on credit and who’s “first”.
