Persistent edit-warring for outdated wp:fringe
[edit]I really wonder if a 1960s wp:fringe [[1]] about a so-called Philistine-Illyrian connection is your best shot. I'm certain you can find something wp:RS.Alexikoua (talk) 21:25, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- Not an edit-war, not persistent, nor that im adding anything about philistines. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 23:54, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
Banjska attack
[edit]Hey RoyalHeritageAlb pershendetje, I hope you're doing well. I noticed your statement on the talkpage regarding the question of whether the Banjska attack should be referred to as a terrorist attack or not. You initially wrote "no" but I believe you may not have seen the question above and the comment by Griboski. Therefore, I changed it to "yes" assuming I interpreted your comment correctly. Iaof2017 (talk) 13:00, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- Exactly i thought the question was the contrary, my mistake. Thank You! RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 15:07, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- You're welcome. ;) Iaof2017 (talk) 15:15, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
Urgent problem
[edit]Hi. I have been working on Fleur-de-lis for several hours now. Your edit came before me publishing my last, massive edit, and now I can't publish mine because yours is blocking me ("Error, edit not published. Error, another user has edited this page."). I'm working on my cellphone, it offers no option for either pushing through my version (and restoring your edit right after that), or for somehow saving my work for using it after accepting your edit. All my work seems to be lost, the article is a mess, and my edits would really help with a better and more user-friendly structure. Could you pls. remove your edit, maybe then I could save mine, and put yours back afterwards? It's just a word, it can easily be done. Let's try, please. Thanks!
Or maybe you have another technical solution? Thanks, Arminden (talk) 13:49, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- I self reverted. I hope your work was not lost. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 14:09, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! Arminden (talk) 14:57, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Khirurg (talk) 00:18, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- A dispute happens when 2 sides have different arguements for a topic. I dont see any counterargument from the other side just reverts because they dont like it. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 00:42, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- The one removing sourced material is you, so it's quite clear who is not "liking" something. Khirurg (talk) 05:01, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Just follow the rules and discuss in the tp your arguments, lets be professional. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 08:48, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Stop trying to remove information you don't like from the lede. Khirurg (talk) 18:21, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- How many times do you want to repeat and reuse the same information? And how much further in the front you want to put that? Its an information (more than 3 times mentioned) about 3 villages of this Municipality not about the municipality itself. Its ethnical composition its not more important than geography tourism history language etc. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 18:36, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Why does some information bother you so much? Why are you trying to hide it from the readers? First it was the "municipality", now it's a different excuse. You should realize that when you try to remove the same material using different excuses, it just make you look intellectually dishonest and you lose credibility with the wikipedia community. Removing well-sourced info that has been there forever and is agreed upon by consensus is a non-starter. Khirurg (talk) 18:58, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Because it is wrong. And you always give different excuses as per why its not wrong. It has been forever wrong since the municipality doesnt consist only of 1 town and 2 villages. Yet you insist that that information should be in front of any other information. Why does this information need to be mentioned at least three times and why should it be more important than any other information? Only because it suits the greek POV? I dont see that being done in any other articles of different countries and ethnicities. There is a reason why there is a demographics category. The region is famous because of the history and tourism yet the ethnicity its way more important for you. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 19:19, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- The information is sourced to five high quality sources, which is a lot more than any information you have ever added. Whether you think it's "wrong" is of no importance whatsoever. Reliable sources are what matter, not opinions. Your response just shows that you don't like it, nothing more. "I really don't like this information so I want it removed" is not an argument. The purpose of an encyclopedia is to inform readers, not hide information that some people don't like. The demographics section is a very large part of the article, and the lede is supposed to represent a summary of the article. After all, let's be honest, the demographic information is the only reason you are even interested in the article in the first place (albeit in a bad, anti-encyclopedic manner). I call on you to refrain from expressing such statements without evidence whatsoever, Himare is located in Albania, and it's going to stay like this unless WWIII breaks out. I've said it numerous times, and I'll repeat it again: Nobody needs anyone's permission to edit an article, even if it's Athens or Aphrodite. Articles don't belong to anyone and can be edited by anyone with good faith. AlexBachmann (talk) 22:41, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

Mistakes..?
[edit]Hello. Just to ask, where have I made a mistake, and what has been reverted? Thank you. Andi Atdhetari (talk) 14:07, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- You put the [[ ]] on the word Fierak but there is not an article regarding Fierak as people. Also you removed the mosque of Fier without reason and i reverted both of them. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 18:54, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. The first one is probably a mistake thst I made. But I removed the mosque because I myself live in an area around Fier and that mosque is basically always empty, and the people of Fier are usually non religious, or Catholic & Orthodox, so badically all of the people of Fier do not think that a masjid is a good way to represent us. Andi Atdhetari (talk) 19:22, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am from Fier too. The church is also basically empty but still are disctintive and important on the city layout and architecture. Please learn the basic rules of wikipedia on the help section and you are welcome to ask me anything. And EVERY information need to be backed by a source/reference otherwise it would fall into personal research which is not allowed in wikipedia. Also use the talk pages of the articles to propose changes do not revert and cause an edit war. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 10:01, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Edit
[edit]Thank you. The thing that seems strange to me, although irrelevant, is that your edit is +161 (https://en.m.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Cannoli&diff=prev&oldid=1223802502) bytes, while mine is -162 (https://en.m.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Cannoli&diff=prev&oldid=1223800392) bytes; there shouldn't be a difference of -1. JacktheBrown (talk) 02:29, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Strange! Probably some alphabetical inflation haha. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 08:26, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Unnecessary Reverting
[edit]Hello, RoyalHeritageAlb. Please tell me the reason you undid my edit on Portokalli . I added more information and which was very constructive but still you removed it. Reply and tell me the reason of the reverting and tell me if I can add that information again.
Thanks, Amogh Amogh Tripathi (talk) 18:48, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello that edit was unnecessary as Portokalli is an Albanian tv show and the name comes from the Albanian word of "orange" and adding the origin of the word is unnecessary. Still the word Portokalli in Albanian Greek and Turkish are all borrowed from the Venetian language. Going by this logic it is the same situation as adding "from Proto-West Germanic *brōþer, from Proto-Germanic *brōþēr, from Proto-Indo-European *bʰréh₂tēr. In the Big Brother (TV Show) article. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 07:47, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I understood. Thanks for clarifying. Amogh Tripathi (talk) 17:10, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Can you request these photos to be kept on Wikimedia Commons as they aren't copyright protected, they are allowed to be shared on the internet, even they are taken from different wesbites on the internet. The links of the photos are these:

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Greek War of Independence, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Albanian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
