By the authority vested in me by myself it gives me great pleasure to present you with this special, very exclusive award created just for we few, we happy few, this band of brothers, who have shed sweat, tears and probably blood, in order to be able to proudly claim "I too have taken an article to Featured status". Roswell!

[edit]

Please take over on Roswell (which, let's be real, you have already!). Had some family emergency his week,so just do whatever it takes to get it across the finish line Feoffer (talk) 20:41, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Feoffer Oh no! I'll try to respond to issues as they pop up; I can't promise that I will have the time either. I hope everything goes well with your family, Rjjiii (talk) 20:44, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Feoffer Welcome back! Also, if you are interested, I would be happy to pass the Roswell baton back for Wikipedia:Today's featured article. I think the blurb would need to be about half the length of the current lead (Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests). Rjjiii (talk) 19:33, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Keep that baton and keep going! I'm not all the way back and you're doing great! Feoffer (talk) 19:58, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Piri Reis

[edit]

On 2 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Piri Reis, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Piri Reis did not map Antarctica in the sixteenth century? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Piri Reis. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Piri Reis), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
