Welcome
[edit]Hello. And a belated welcome. As you continue to contribute to the project, and in addition to reviewing the general editing guidelines, you may want to have a quick look at the conflict of interest (COI) guidelines. In short, editors with a conflict of interest (an association with an organisation or subject outside the project) may be influenced (knowingly or otherwise) by their connection to the topic. Editors with a conflict of interest are expected to do their best to avoid editing articles with which they have an association, to consider disclosing any conflicts of interest, and generally to do their best to work within the content policies. Ways to improve National Handball Centre
[edit]Hello, Windows10000,
Thank you for creating National Handball Centre.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
That was a nice article for a first one, avoid citing anything to social media as it is not considered reliable - see WP:RS
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}

[edit]Hello, I'm Lord Belbury. I noticed that you recently removed content from Wallball without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. "American handball" got deleted from the list during your edit. Since it's supposedly "sometimes referred to as wallball", it should be mentioned somewhere on that disambiguation page, for anyone who's looking for it. Lord Belbury (talk) 14:01, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Irish Wallball Nationals moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Irish Wallball Nationals, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. COI reminder (updated from Feb 2021)
[edit]Hello, Rhubarb500. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Guliolopez (talk) 18:49, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Guliolopez I'm not editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising or promoting anything - I am simply updating facts in the article relating to the opening of the new National Handball Centre. Rhubarb500 (talk) 22:27, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. The conflict of interest guidelines are not exclusively related to promotion or advocacy (see: WP:COINOTBIAS). Guliolopez (talk) 15:27, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
