  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

Your edits to Vivian Balakrishnan

Dear Reddotparty, You seem to be a brand new editor created just two weeks ago, and are perhaps unaware of wikipedia policies and practices. Your edits contravened WP:NPOV, WP:UNDUE, WP:VD. The two incidents you cited are old settled matters. Your choice of works like 'blame' are also not appropriate. The articles you referred to say that he explained the reasons for getting the initial estimates of the budget wrong. Similarly, Facebook themselves that confirmed there was was bug in the technical systems. The overall pattern of your edits, not your name, suggests a political goal. Thanks.

Your edit and bias views are not welcome, Wikipedia:Wikipuffery (He remains well known for his television performances in his early years.) You are just a solo fan to associate Vivian Balakrishnan as a 'well known' appearing as participant or guest in obscured defuncted TV shows? He is not close in league as 'well known' as Darryl David who was notable for show business prior to joining politic. To push your personal agenda, you even included link which does not even mention 'health matter' tv show. http://www.pmo.gov.sg/cabinet/dr-vivian-balakrishnan In your own words, 'won several nationally televised debates' when there was only a debate'84 with SBC the sole broadcaster in Singapore. Keep on white washing.

UPDATE: 29 MARCH 2017 Mostestargue is a sleeper account WP:SLEEPER which was last active in 2013 and suddenly came alive in 2017 with other puppet WP:PUPPET accounts to disrupt wikipedia by white washing his supported political party and falsely accusing and intimidating other user's edit. This was investigated and supported by 3 admins here after investigation.

Just a note that do not do this in future. This is called WP:EDITWARRING (and leads to most editors being blocked). When you have been reverted, you next edit is to either discuss or (in cases of fixable problems), fix all of them when restoring the edit. In this case, for example, your edit did not add references but actually removed a reference (see the NTU reference).
Your next edit added references (which I appreciate). But remember that social media are not considered reliable sources, so please do not use them as references. I understand that you are trying to help. But your actions are not helping and to me, it appears to be WP:ADVOCACY editing. This is bordering on WP:OR and this is not good copyediting. I am not doubting your good faith, but you need to learn how stuff works here, particularly our policies of WP:NPOV, WP:BLP and WP:NOT. You will also realise that sometimes, the spirit of the policy or guideline is more important than the words itself. My suggestion to you would be to try editing some articles (maybe American politics), take part in talk page discussions and learn how guidelines/policies are applied in practice. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on David Ong. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Reddotparty. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
