I began the above article for you. I thought perhaps a noiry French crime thriller might be something you might enjoy tinkering with. I'll find some reliable websites as sources and list them below for you. Those links at the very top of the page should help you if you have a Q about writing, and for other info just look at what I've written already, or ask me! :) SGGHspeak!11:20, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey fellow Wikipedian! Your username is listed on the WikiProject Films participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:FILM editor, please add your name to the Active Members list. You may also wish to add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. We also have several task forces that you may be interested in joining as well.
Also, elections for Project Coordinators are currently in sign-up phase. If you would be interested in running, or would like to ask questions of the candidates, please take a look. You can see more information on the positions at Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Coordinators. Thanks and happy editing!

Just noticed you added your name to the list of alt music members. However, the areas you're interested in ("late 70's glitter rock, proto-punk, punk, and 'new wave' articles.") aren't really covered by the project. Just to let you know. CloudNine (talk) 18:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
(Saw this on CloudNine's talk page) Yeah, I really don't see Subway Sect coming under the scope of the project. However, several post-punk bands do, given they outlasted the post-punk/New Wave era and created music that's classified under alt-rock. Some big ones: The Cure, New Order, Siouxsie & the Banshees, later period Public Image Ltd., 1980s Wire, XTC. If a band falls under grunge, Britpop, goth, indie rock, "college rock", indie pop, post-grunge, etc., it's in the scope of the project. WesleyDodds (talk) 07:11, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
"I still have people come up to me like, 'I really, really liked your last record.' 'Oh, thanks!' 'Are you going to do "Loser" tonight?' I'm like, 'Look, I'm six foot six. Beck is five foot sex, all right?'"- Thurston Moore
Sign up for our B-class article drive on the project talk page! The goal is to increase a number of the project's B-class articles to GA or FA status within two months. The B-class article drive will run from February 1 to April 1, 2008.

This month was the first in over a year in which no articles were promoted to featured article status. In the period between March 2007 and April 2008, the project produced a whopping 70 Featured Articles. Let's keep adding to those numbers!
Pearl Jam was featured on the Main Page on April 22.

We are the super nerd couple. And no, I don't think so. There is a league of copy editors somewhere, and on my page in the useful links section is something called a "tracker summary" which shows you jobs needing doing. Wuvvle SGGHspeak!07:33, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
"I go to a fucking office and I write. I'm not one of these dickheads who opens a beer, high fives his mates and opens his mouth and shit pours out, which he then writes on a beer mat. It doesn't come easy."- Nick Cave

Tis, have been busy to fix it at the moment. Not particularly keen to natter here with everyone in the world reading! :) SGGHspeak!11:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
"I've gotten into communication states with cats where I know I heard their voices in my head and we'd sit around and have conversations with each other. Like me and one cat there, one cat there and one cat there and I would sit there for like three hours talking to them before I realized 'I can't believe I've been talking to cats for three hours.'" - John Frusciante

"Oh, we've been called an alternative band before. But we eat meat, so I think we're disqualified: chili dogs, corn dogs, Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast."- Kurt Cobain

Your pictures are excellent, just wanted to say that. You're very talented, unlike a lot of artists who make a lot of money pickling livestock and putting up tents. Nick mallory (talk) 10:46, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
"And suddenly the plane dropped to the right, then to the left, and the ground was right there. And all I could think was, Fuck, I didn’t finish "Fix You." That would have been my last thought: I didn’t get that chorus right."- Chris Martin

I noticed in the assistance needed section you are requesting graphic designers for wikiproject needs. User:Red Gown is one of the most talented artists I've seen, she just doodles these works of art seemingly without effort! She drew Geoffrey Boycott for his article. Admittedly I am slightly bias, but I'm sure if you leave a note on her talk page she would enjoy doing whatever art/design jobs you require. SGGHspeak!12:35, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
I've long thought that Flight (cricket) could do with an illustration of the trajectory of a cricket ball. And it's so fundamental to the game (and so different from <ahem> baseball) that I'd argue for including it in Cricket. --Dweller (talk) 13:33, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
I suspect she would very much enjoy that, she can do sketches like the Boycott one very quickly. If you pull up a list and put it on her user page I'm sure she can get some done for you. I'll google her some photos so she knows what to base them on. SGGHspeak!14:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Of course I'd be absolutely chuffed to help out in any way I can. Any excuse to draw something is good enough for me (I can even do digital illustration if needs be), and I can further my cricket education at the same time. --Red Gown (talk) 04:20, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Would prefer it as simple line art, and if possible in SVG format, so that it can be tweaked (or animated, if and when supported). I know it's a lot here, so if its too much to do, then consider only the umpire signals as most important.
Umpire signals
Dismissals
Batting
Bowling
Out
Four
Six
Bye
Leg-bye
No-ball
Wide
Referral to third umpire
One short
Revoke previous decision
Free hit
Bouncer
Powerplay
New ball
Penalty runs? (is there one signal?)
Substitute (was there one?)
Caught
Bowled
Run out + Run-cut-out/Mankaded
Stumped
Hit-wicket
Handled the ball
Obstructing the field (any ideas how to depict this?)
LBW (both instances: when pitched in-line of the stumps and outside the offstump)
On drive
Lofted shot
Cover drive
Hook
Pull
Cut
Late cut
Off drive
Square drive
Straight drive
Slog
Sweep
Reverse sweep
Scoop
Cut
Slice
Run down to third man
Batting stance (left and right handers) as well as when shot is not offered
Hmmm, I think Red Gown will have to ask me what each signal is before she settles down to draw it. We will try the first one this evening, neither of us are at work today. SGGHspeak!11:39, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
"When we were trying to sell 'This Corrosion' to Steinman, we said it was like the high point of a Borgia disco evening and he went for it. Nobody makes gloriously stupid records anymore."- Andrew Eldritch
... Red Gown is nomming his article. Remember you can't just ask him for info, cause you won't be able to cite it :P SGGHspeak!12:19, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
"Anthony's a sex symbol. You see the thing is for the girls they're like 'oh Anthony he's so beautiful! And his muscles and his hair and oh golly he's so sexy!' but with me its like [with men] 'DUDE YOU'RE SO AWESOME...WOW DUDE. WOW!" - Flea
And while we are at, a certain Wikipedian said that amongst the many things you are brilliant at, being able to fix this image of its general blurriness is at the top of the list. --Roisterer (talk) 11:08, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
How exciting (and please don't apologise)! I have no set ideas on format - I guess I'd suggest using whatever format you think will most clearly demonstrate the concept. I'll leave it to your artistic intuition! Thanks, --Dweller (talk) 11:55, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
"I got a lot of shit for the Rolling Stone review of Reckoning because the guy really likes my guitar style and he wrote, 'on this record, Pete Buck does everything.' We'd stop for gas and it would be, 'Pete Buck does everything. Why don't you go pump the gas, Pete?'" - Peter Buck
"The other day I had these Jehovah's Witnesses come round to my house, and they tried to convince me that the Pope was the Devil's representative on Earth. So I told them that Jesus was the world's first communist. So they left. They were genuinely enraged.'" - Ian Brown
