I reverted your removal of the distinguish note between pedophilia and ephebophilia. My reasoning being that it is not POV. It is not a "claim" that ephebophilia is not pedophilia; it is a fact. The Pedophilia article does the same distinguishing at the top of its article as well. Because some people confuse the two, unless it is a sexual/romantic attraction to an 18-year-old or a 19-year-old...as opposed to a 17-year-old. Because, you know, some people act as though there is some huge physical difference age-wise between those ages when it involves which is a legal adult.
Is the reason you feel distinguishing is not needed at the top of this article is because it is already distinguished in its lead? Or is it because the lead basically says some people call ephebophilia pedophilia? I mean, just because some people call them the same thing does not make it POV to say that they are not the same thing, not when it is fact that they are not the same thing. - If a distinction between these "-philia" should be made in either of these articles, there should sources confirming it. Just adding that template is not an argument to skip the need to have information on Wikipedia verifiable. As the lead in the article clearly states, in many contexts/many people don't accept that distinction and it should therefore be sourced.

There are sources confirming it
A source in the article confirms it and many in the Pedophilia article confirm it. Just because some people are too ignorant to educate themselves on these matters or too lazy to distinguish does not give any weight to their calling "these philias" the same thing. - What source? Paedophilia is a controversial topic and most people have an opinion. The article is saying "ages 15-19". There are many ways of defining "children". Please, again, make sure there are references for information you think should be in the article.

Does not matter
Again, there is a source in the article and plenty are in the Pedophilia article. Pedophilia being a controversial topic does not stop the fact that it is not the same thing as ephebophilia. There being many ways of defining children does not stop the fact that pedophilia is a sexual preference for prepubescent children. Being romantically/sexually attracted to a 17-year-old is not a mental disorder, especially since 17 looks no physicallly different age-wise than 18. If being romantically/sexually attracted to mid to late teenagers is a mental disorder, then it would mean that many normal people have a mental disorder. Brad Pitt as well, since he dated a 17-year-old Juliette Lewis when he was in his late 20s. Furthermore, ephebophilia is the primary or exclusve sexual preference for mid to late teenagers, which is different from a random romantic/sexual attraction to teenagers anyway, but it is still not a mental disorder and is still not pedophilia. - Says who? I can find refs for "late adolescence, ages 15-19"; another for "pro-pedophile activist Frits Bernard"; yet another for "gay support magazine Vriendschap"; and lastly one for "crediting it to Hirschfeld though giving no exact date". There are no references in Ephebophilia supporting the claims that this is not pedophilia. No matter what your opinion is, bring a credible source to make it verifiable. Your are saying it is not a mental disorder — sorry I can't trust you, bring references!

You don't have to trust me, valid sources back up "my claims"
You keep saying bring a source when a source is in the Ephebophilia article, as well as in the Pedophilia article. Many are in the Pedophilia article. Why haven't you taken this discussion there as well, to object to it being distinguished there? Is it because you know that they are not the same thing? A number of sources can be pulled from that article saying that it is not the same thing. Valid sources saying that pedophilia is the sexual preference for prepubescent children is proof that it is not the same thing as ephebophilia. By saying those words, it is saying that it is not the same thing. If it were, the Ephebophilia article wouldn't exist. I cannot even believe you are suggesting that a sexual attraction to 17-year-olds and even 18 and 19-year-olds is the same as pedophilia, especially when adults having sex with those ages is perfectly legal in many states in America. America does not allow pedophilia, which is why Age of consent is not 7 or anything close to it.

And your "LOL!" edit summary just makes it more clear. That kind of behavior is not appropriate at all. - I did consider removing that comment for a while just to conclude it had already been removed. Concerning the comment itself: I'd absolutely agree it is to "disrupt Wikipedia to make a point" but I can't agree it is a personal attack. I was making fun of Flyer22s style of contribution on that talk pages but the comment was not addressing Flyer22 personally. Furthermore, the Ephebophilia article itself is saying most people call it paedophilia and then you want to see me blocked for calling those who insist the article should say "it's perfectly normal, we all do it" pedo POV-pushers.
- To give you a simple example:
- In a comment Flyer22 suggest Mark Foley should have been called an ephebophile (not a paedophile)-- failing to explain why his "normal behaviour" resulted in a scandal. Flyer22 insist I can't distinguish between someone 7 and 17 just to proceed to discuss why kids "who already has breasts and menstrual cycles" are legitimate objects.
- I certainly don't want to be associated with anything vaguely related to all this. If you have to block me for calling these people pedo POV-pusher -- please go ahead.

- One more thing -- as editor Legitimus said, it's quite clear that you do not read. Because no where on the article's talk page did we say that "it's perfectly normal, we all do it" (unless speaking of men's sexual attraction to 18 and 19-year-olds) or that kids "who already has breasts and menstrual cycles" are legitimate objects. I even argued against the "breasts and menstrual cycles" topic with another editor there! I always argue against an adult being with a child sexually, or an adult being with a teenager sexually under the age of consent. I am against any adult being with someone 15 and under, unless that adult is 18 and the minor that 18-year-old is with is 15, 16 or 17. But ages 16 and 17 are the ages of consent in several states in America. That's why I say anyone under 16. That, and the fact that I remember that 16 and 17 are hardly any physically or mentally different than 18.

- When it comes to normal, we stated that plenty of normal men find 16, 17 and 18-year-olds sexually attractive, which is a fact. 16 and 17-year-olds hardly looking any physically different than 18-year-olds is the main reason that so many 16 and 17-year-olds can lie about their age and say that they are 18. It's the main reason why so many men, including celebrities, admitted to being sexually attracted to a then 17-year-old Britney Spears. It's the main reason that a then 26/27-year-old Brad Pitt dated a then 16/17 year-old Juliette Lewis.
- Just because some people think that all sexual attraction to anyone under 18 is pedophilia does not make it pedophilia. Thus, yes, you are wrong to want the Ephebophilia article to be like the Pedophilia article, in wanting it to be relayed that ephebophilia is pedophilia.
