Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mesudarim.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Mesudarim.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
israel at the og
[edit]it's relevant to put it as well in Israel at the 2008 Summer Olympics since at the end (in the "Nations at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of Chin" popup) israel in sorted under europe --- so i will correct it again kernitou talk 08:35, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'll quote Nitsansh from your talk page:
- The sentence you added has no place in the article Israel at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The main reason: Olympics is a global event so continental affiliation is simply not relevant. I've never seen statistics that devide the Olympic participants by continents, such as medal table by continents.
- Even if there's a template saying that Israel is in Europe, it still doesn't matter for the article, because it's a worldwide competition, and the continent of the country doesn't change a thing. If you still don't agree with me or Nitsansh, please continue discussing, and stop reverting. RaLo18 (talk with me • my contributions) 09:38, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
WikiProject Association Football Varients
[edit]I would like to say that starting this as a taskforce on WP:FOOTY is a good idea and you now have five supporters, meaning that you can start it, and I will fully support it. If you want any help from me just ask. 2o-DeMoN-o8t*c*a*wp 16:57, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks to your support, Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Taskforce on Association Football variants has been created! 2o-DeMoN-o8t*c*a*wp 17:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC) (We couldn't create a WikiProject)
Although I know you do not want to be as involved, can you put your name down on the participants list? It's just that someone might come along and delete it. 2o-DeMoN-o8t*c*a*wp 15:37, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Deleted page re-created
[edit]Just dropped by to let you know that the deleted article List of Grand Slam Men's Singles champions (reverse chronological order) has been re-created under a different name: Men's Grand Slam Championships. I believe this is against Wikipedia policy, but I don't know. Since you were the user who originally sumitted the article for deletion, I thought you might have wanted to know this latest development. Cheers. There's also another article in the same fashion (List of Grand Slam Women's Singles champions (reverse chronological order)) which hasn't been submitted for deletion. ☆ CieloEstrellado 03:19, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- The last time it happened I was on vacation and didn't notice it. I didn't recreate the page but I admit I would have and then informed a moderator when I did so. It was a major compromise between arguing factions to create the page in the first place so both sides could be happy. If it ever goes away the original form of the main page will need to go back the way it was. The sorting feature doesn't seem work to well here. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:45, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
