Disambiguation link notification for April 17
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Carl Pettersson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:51, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
PwilliamQ99, please see Wikipedia:UP#Categories.2C_templates.2C_and_redirects which says, "User talk pages should not redirect to anything other than the talk page of another account controlled by the same user." The emphasis is in the original, not mine. Your redirections are against policy. As well your use of WP:POPUPS for this purpose is inappropriate. Know that my editing of your userpage is perfectly allowed via Wikipedia:UP#Handling_inappropriate_content. Please cease. 140.247.141.165 (talk) 23:40, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- You are aware the quote you quote says "User talk pages" not "User pages" right? -DJSasso (talk) 23:47, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- Applies the same. 140.247.141.165 (talk) 23:49, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- No the two are very different things. User talk pages are treated very differently than user pages. -DJSasso (talk) 23:51, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Park Sung-hyun (golfer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 22:44, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
Survey Invite
[edit]I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 15:28, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Constellation Furyk and Friends moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Constellation Furyk and Friends, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
