Dear 1234qwer1234qwer4 I am really glad and thankful to you, for welcoming me to the renowned Wikipedia Community. Yes, I will stay here, and would try to give my utmost contributions, as an Wikipedia Author and Editor.

Once again thanks for making me member of Wikipedia Community and I will also ask for help & support in this concern, ever needed. Regards. Purnima & Meena Kumari 9 August 2020. (My phone doesn't contain tildes, symbol). Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 06:59, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello, I noticed you were writing "articles" on your userpage. However, the topics are already described under Spinach and Influenza. There is no need to write new articles on them, but you can try to improve the existing ones! User pages are there to describe yourself in relation to Wikipedia, so that other users see how you have contributed to Wikipedia and what you are interested in. They are not article pages. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 10:16, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. Yes there are many articles on spinach and influenza, but I am trying to write something new or important about them. Please let me know how to create an article page, where I can write as an author and publish it globally ? Regards.

(Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 01:49, 10 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]

  • Hello, Wikipedia is a collaborative project, so if you want to add more information on a topic on that an article already exists, you have to expand the existing article. There is no need in having multiple articles about the same entity by different authors. Instead, articles are written by lots of people together. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 09:58, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Thanks a lot for such guidance and information. I will owe this further. Regards. (Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 13:41, 10 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
Hello, Please let me know where I can post my new articles, ever needed ? Please allow me to know the considered procedure, if possible. Regards. (Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 13:44, 10 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
  • Hello, you can search for the topic on that you want to write an article, and if the article does not exist yet, you will see a red link in the search results, which will link to an empty editing window for creating a new article. However, you can also use WP:Articles for creation, where your article will be reviewed and only moved into the article namespace if it satisfies Wikipedia's standards. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 13:59, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Thank a lot for such information and guidance. (Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 11:15, 13 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]

What is Linkspam? Why should we never engage in linkspam?

[edit]

Please read WP:Linkspam, which explains why your poorly-executed addition to Lyngbya was promptly reverted. Wikipedia is not for promotion. Your account is already over the line of reason with your joint user name, which I recall warning you about earlier. Now you have raised another red flag with blatant linkspam. Do you wish to have this account blocked from editing?

Information icon Hello, I'm Quisqualis. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 23:50, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am extremely sorry as I was not knowing that such account name is not permitted. Also, other error was done unknowingly, as I am a new user. I will go through all the Wikipedia rules and regulations and won't repeat such mistakes. Please allow me to be the member of Wikipedia. I will change the account name as well. Kindly allow me for this. Thanks & Regards. Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 12:57, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User names must only represent one single individual, not any sort of group

[edit]

Please read the links in the message:

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Purnima & Meena Kumari", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 23:54, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am really sorry for such error, but the username is not promoting any agency etc. The username is, I and my mother name who cannot operate Wikipedia and write in english language. She is just an motivator for me. But if this username violates norms of Wikipedia, I am ready to change it. The username is already a single user name. But I will change it.
Kindly allow me to know, if it is needed, now? I sincerely want to be the member of Wikipedia, and will follow all the Wikipedia rules and regulations. Thanks & Regards. Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 13:04, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is absolutely and seriously not allowed to have names which suggest more than one person. You can change your user name the easy way by starting a new account with a new name. This makes sense because most of your edits on User:Purnima & Meena Kumari had serious problems. If you wish, you can put a note on your user page of your new account stating that you used to edit as User:Purnima & Meena Kumari.
If you seriously wish to maintain continuity with this old account, you can ask for the account name to be changed from User:Purnima & Meena Kumari to something else. Go to Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the instructions there.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:29, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that I did not realize you were blocked when I made the suggestions above. If you create a new account as I first suggested, you would be punished further by Wikipedia, so do not do that.
You probably should work first on getting unblocked, which is the greater challenge. When you are unblocked, be sure to change your user name immediately, or you risk getting blocked again.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:37, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Purnima & Meena Kumari! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 00:09, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am extremely sorry for this, as I was not aware of such rules and regulations. I will follow all the guidelines, further. Please allow me to be the member of Wikipedia, and let me know if my profile be unblocked ? Thanks & Regards. Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 12:52, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please follow the instructions in the block notice at the bottom to formally request to be unblocked. 331dot (talk) 15:07, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Once you carefully follow all the instructions in the block notice, a decision should be made as to when you will be unblocked.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:48, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

In this edit, -you copied directly from a copyright-protected textbook, and put that material into Wikipedia. That is illegal. Wikipedia is "the encyclopedia that anyone can edit legally."--Quisqualis (talk) 00:51, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am extremely sorry, I didn't did that intentionally. I will follow all the rules and regulations of editing contents on Wikipedia. As I was not knowing about that. Purnima & Meena Kumari (talk) 12:45, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright law in the US, where Wikipedia is based, is very strict. Wikipedia does not wish to be in violation of the law. In English-speaking countries, we have a saying, "ignorance of the law is no excuse". In general, plagiarism is frowned on in most countries, and you should be aware of that.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:42, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Do yourself a favor and read the links provided in the colored area below, so that you do not have any further confusion or administrative difficulties with Wikipedia.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:45, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

It looks like you need to read citing sources so your citations turn out well technically. Also, take a very careful look at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. You seem to mean well, but your lack of familiarity with the rules may get you into hot water.

January 2021: It seems that English may not be your first language

[edit]

I looked back at some of your earlier edits and I noticed that some of your writing indicates that you are unfamiliar with how we write things in English, such as capitalization rules and use of definite and indefinite articles. While Wikipedia respects regional varieties of English, when editors encounter an article written in standard American English, they must maintain standard American English wording and capitalization in their edits. You may find a more comfortable fit with another Wikipedia in a language which is more familiar to you, such as urdu. Keep in mind that, in all likelihood, that Wikipedia will frown on copyright violations and plagiarism as the English Wikipedia does.--Quisqualis (talk) 04:03, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I sincerely request Wikipedia to please unblock my account. It was blocked due error in editing and joint username.

Please unblock the account as soon as possible. I really want to work on Wikipedia.

Thanks & Regards.

Purnima.

To request unblock, please follow the instructions in the block notice, placing your request below this message, for proper flow. 331dot (talk) 12:55, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
