Reusing references on pages
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to the page 2025 Democratic National Committee chairmanship election! However, I noticed in your edits that you keep adding the same citations over and over for each endorsement. Did you know you can reuse the citation the first time you add it by naming it in the <ref> tag? See below for an example:
The first use of the citation would be at the end of this sentence.<ref name="HelloWorld">{{cite news |last1=Mettler |first1=Katie |last2=Hilton |first2=Jasmine |title=Alsobrooks’s Senate win fuels new contest over her Prince George’s seat |url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2024/11/08/maryland-elections-prince-georges-county-alsobrooks/ |access-date=November 22, 2024 |work=The Washington Post |date=November 8, 2024}}</ref> The citation is used again for this sentence!<ref name="HelloWorld" />
