AfD

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion (on the article Jødisk Idrætsforening Hakoah) but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider registering an account or asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you. GiantSnowman 21:53, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You also failed to complete the Steve Massie AfD; please familarise yourself with the proper procedures before nominating any further articles for deletion. When you do, please make sure you include appropriate edit summaries, and notify the article creator. GiantSnowman 12:39, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Same story with Dobos United... GiantSnowman 12:44, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a major issue at all, there is a handy AfD how-to guide here. If you need any more issues or questions, don't hesistate to ask! Regards, GiantSnowman 18:14, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
Good work with all the recent AfDs, keep it up! GiantSnowman 23:17, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • (embarrassed) Thanks, but to give barnstars for several (not many) deletion nominations is, mm, very original. :) --Postoronniy-13 (talk) 23:31, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm grateful to you for the barnstar, but I would prefer to receive barnstar for works in articles (to receive it now - will be too early, my contributions are small); if nevertheless for AFD works - it should be done later, when I'll have more AFD services. :) --Postoronniy-13 (talk) 07:30, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • True, but you are new to EN-wiki, and yet have managed to locate, and correctly AfD, articles on obscure, non-notable clubs. That is enough for me to deserve a "well done." GiantSnowman 11:27, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability checks

[edit]

If you want a quick way to check whether a club is notable or not, I can recommend the Football Club History Database. This has an almost complete list of leagues played in and cup results for football clubs in England (e.g. Brache Sparta, although it stopped being updated in 2006. Cheers, Number 57 09:15, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for recommending, hadn't knew about this database. :) But if you thought that my only method to check notability is using "what links here" - that's a mistake. ;) Altogether, my main football <domestic championships> interests are leagues in Russia and other former USSR countries and top European and American leagues - and not English non-toplevels football. --Postoronniy-13 (talk) 09:26, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Oriya Wikipedia. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  15:38, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

-- Postoronniy-13 (talk) 15:34, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 16:58, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
-- Postoronniy-13 (talk) 18:27, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 22:59, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
