Speedy deletion of "Vitalijus Gorbunovas"

[edit]

A page you created, Vitalijus Gorbunovas, has been tagged for deletion in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:

No indication of importance/significance. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. Thank you Loren.wilton (talk) 10:55, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it is very important article, due to a significance of this tragedy Pleckaitis (talk) 11:01, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
==Vitalijus Gorbunovas==

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vitalijus Gorbunovas, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Vitalijus Gorbunovas. AfD nomination of 2008 cyberattacks on Georgia and Azerbaijan

[edit]

I have nominated 2008 cyberattacks on Georgia and Azerbaijan, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008 cyberattacks on Georgia and Azerbaijan. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Russavia Dialogue 00:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Chaos in the Ukrainian parliament during a debate over the extension of the lease on a Russian naval base 2010 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP is not the news

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Codf1977 (talk) 10:25, 27 April 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Vidmantas Plečkaitis. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Vidmantas Plečkaitis has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nordfyns Folkehøjskole, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Inclusion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Klaipėdos kartono tara, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://tara.lt/eng/About-us.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fyderast requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. You've been warned for edit warring and POV pushing per the result of a complaint at WP:AN3. Wikipedia expects that editors can contribute neutrally even on contentious topics. Kerch Polytechnic College attack is covered by sanctions

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in Eastern Europe. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello I added one category (based on the categorization of a similar article and a few other tags to the article. Anyway it's looking good so far, although there's a few (surmountable) problems that I noticed at glance. First the article's title probably should be something more easy to find although what that title might be, I have no clue. Two, right now it only references BBC as a source. On a quick Google search I noticed that the New York Times, NBC News, and ABC News also have stories about this disaster, although I haven't gotten the time to read the articles and (possibly) expand the page based on material found there. Anyway keep up the good work. Sakura CarteletTalk 23:53, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
