Think you meant to create User:Pgc512 instead of Pgc512. I moved the content from the main namespace to your user page, and tagged the main namespace article for deletion (it may already be gone)... Let me know if you have questions. --NsevsTalk 20:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Pgc512, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for signing up at WikiProject Country Music. I see you're the one responsible for the article on Del Reeves. You also seem to be proficient in math. I tried to read your user page, but you lost me at the part about binomial coefficients. Since you've been editing here for quite a while and are already an expert with math markup, it doesn't seem necessary to give you a copy of Template:Welcome on this page, but you may view the pages linked there if you want to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page or check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question. Once again, thanks! --TantalumTelluride 02:32, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Cindy Sheehan 22:09, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit]

Your edit to Cindy Sheehan was very POV. The statement says Other Sheehan family members and if you read carefully, that does not infer 'all' family members. Please refrain from making POV edits to articles. This statement is presenting the families statement. Maniwar (talk) 22:09, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please see discussion under Talk:Cindy Sheehan for an in-depth discussion of this. As you can see there, Maniwar made false accusations about me, and although he does not seem totally unreasonable, he does make hasty and unfounded statements at times. Pgc512 15:46, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting statement Pgc512...creativly interesting. Anyway, I'll leave it at that and allow others to read the discussion you pointed them to. --Maniwar (talk) 17:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Say Maniwar, how are you monitoring my user talk page? Did you put it on your watch list? Just curious. Pgc512 02:40, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your revert of my description was POV. If you are suppporting the people killing innocent Iraquis then you are a terrorist sypathsizer. Sheehans is not above criticism in her description.Tannim 12:59, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What in the world are you talking about? If you continue to vandalize this article, I will take action against you. Pgc512 14:19, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DEL REEVES

[edit]
Hey thanks! I'm glad you think I did such a good job. I came past his aricle and noticed there was almost nothing there. I had to do something about it! Are you really Del's cousin? He seems like a cool singer! (LovePatsyCline 22:15, 10 November 2006 (UTC))[reply]
Yes, though distant. His dad and my grandmother were 1st cousins. My Dad knew him a little but I have never met him. He is a great singer and entertainer. Pgc512 01:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gosh, I believe that a mistake was made in deleting the article so quickly. What is going on? Is it available anywhere? Pgc512 20:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WP:WMD for advice on what to do next Subwayguy 21:05, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I looked. Didn't see anything to do. Administrator named "Improv" deleted it, saying it was spam. It wasn't. Pgc512 23:10, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
WP:DRV would be your best bet, I guess Subwayguy 23:23, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Given that other people have tagged it with speedy, I'm willing to suggest that WP:DRV is appropriate - I stand by the deletion, and believe DRV will endorse my decision (although I may be wrong). Take care. --Improv 01:24, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
User:Pgc512/Harker has the text. --Improv 06:12, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Del Reeves

[edit]

I know it's been a couple of weeks, but I heard Del Reeves passed away. How are you taking it being you are related to him? I'm sorry for your loss. LovePatsyCline 21:51, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although related (2nd cousin once removed), i don't know his family and never met Del personally. I heard he had emphesema and was a "functioning alcoholic". I wonder if he smoked. Do you know anything about these things? Pgc512 22:13, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have heard that he has had trouble in the past with smoking, but never knew he had emphesema. After all, what Country singer didn't smoke back in the 1960s? LovePatsyCline 22:10, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I just saw some really good videos of Del from the 60's on Youtube. Maybe I will put a link on Del's page. Pgc512 16:49, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Ford picture

[edit]

Re [1]: Do you have anything to support this? I've looked about the net for pictures of any of them and came up with nothing. The photo I cropped from is the only evidence I have. Do you have something that disagrees with this? --Durin 14:05, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know Michael personally. I am 100% sure that you've got the wrong son. Keep looking. I've seen pics of Michael on the web. Best wishes. Pgc512 14:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This one is Mike. I suspect this is Steve, but I do not know him, so I could be wrong. Pgc512 16:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
