Edmund Janniger
Hello OluwaCurtis! Edmund Janniger, an article you marked as reviewed, is up for deletion. As one editor pointed out, the voices to delete are from dormant accounts that reappeared for this AfD. This article is clearly notable. I hope you join the AfD debate. Cachets687 (talk) 14:56, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
Hello! Your submission of Zuriel Oduwole at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know!
The hook (I believe) needs slightly changing as the quote says "Joining CNBC Africa is a young lady who at the age of 12 was the youngest film maker in the world, she is also the youngest person to appear in Forbes magazine at age 10..." Therefore I have provided a 2nd alternative Hook as
- ALT2:...that at the age of 10, Zuriel Oduwole became the world's youngest person to appear in Forbes Magazine?
If you are happy with this it is good to go. SethWhales talk 15:09, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Deletion of Jeffrey Akoh
Hello,
Why has the Jeff Akoh page been marked for deletion please? I made sure to follow Wikipedia guidelines. Can you tell me what is missing? To the best of my knowledge, the article has been written from a neutral point of view with credible references. Please advise, thank you

Hi Oluwa- We're actually referred to now as a marketplace lender, hence I've made those changes. I am not sure why you'd feel P2P is a better representation. Whilst it was historically, what I have entered is a better reflection of what we are now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anthonysexton (talk • contribs) 17:17, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Opeyemi Enoch
The article Opeyemi Enoch has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not notable enough to justify having an article which is (necessarily, for neutrality) highly negative about the subject. See also WP:NOTNEWS, WP:BIO1E, and WP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. David Eppstein (talk) 21:27, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Objection: Clint Winters
I do not believe I have violated an Wikipedia rules by posting Clint Winters. I even waited until IMDB verified all of this television credits. I believe anyone who is selected to guest star/host in 6 full national television programs should be added to Wikipedia as the acting/hosting community is very very competitive in the United States. Please reference his IMDB, you will see his verified IMDB credits and verified credits for the television programs he was in [1]. These have all been submitted to IMDB and approved. DYK for Zuriel Oduwole
On 30 December 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Zuriel Oduwole, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that at the age of 10, Zuriel Oduwole became the world's youngest person to appear in Forbes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Zuriel Oduwole. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Hi Oluwacurtis, I hope you're well. I've been working on a page Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode which aims to highlight her contributions to development in Nigeria through her organisations. The article has a few problems which you have pointed out, as it's confined to her listings on her company;'s website and a few media platforms. To an extent i believed it was balanced and thoroughly referenced, and adds a couple more local titles in Channels Television, However you had pointed out that the article as it stands looks to promote her but however this is not the case. If you have time to take a look at it and see how you can help improve it or how you can advice on the writing style, there are couple of writeups online that could serve as references , however most of them do not make reference to her in their titles. I will appreciate your help on this. Many thanks. Ebubay01 (talk) 07:49, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review - newsletter No.2
- A HUGE backlog
We now have 803 New Page Reviewers!
Most of us requested the user right at PERM, expressing a wish to be able to do something about the huge backlog, but the chart on the right does not demonstrate any changes to the pre-user-right levels of October.
The backlog is still steadily growing at a rate of 150 a day or 4,650 a month. Only 20 reviews a day by each reviewer over the next few days would bring the backlog down to a managable level and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
It didn't work in time to relax for the Xmas/New Year holidays. Let's see if we can achieve our goal before Easter, otherwise by Thanksgiving it will be closer to 70,000.
- Second set of eyes
Remember that we are the only guardians of quality of new articles, we alone have to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged by non-Reviewer patrollers and that new authors are not being bitten.
- Abuse
This is even more important and extra vigilance is required considering Orangemoody, and
- this very recent case of paid advertising by a Reviewer resulting in a community ban.
- this case in January of paid advertising by a Reviewer, also resulting in a community ban.
- This Reviewer is indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry.
Coordinator election
Kudpung is stepping down after 6 years as unofficial coordinator of New Page Patrolling/Reviewing. There is enough work for two people and two coords are now required. Details are at NPR Coordinators; nominate someone or nominate yourself. Date for the actual suffrage will be published later.

Use of "see also"
Hello Mr, In my article "Charles Inojie" you regarded, described, and in your edit summary termed and tagged a "See Also" category as "not necessary" I am sorry if this is a rookie question but please can you explain how so ? Devotion to study of Wikipedian polices makes it clear to an editor, it is plausible reasoning and way to de-orphan an article.
Explaining this to me would be of great help. Do educate me on this sir. Celestina007 (talk) 21:35, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hello there, using a See also section as a way of de-orphaning an article isn't right. Moreover, biographical articles do not necessarily need a see also section. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 11:08, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Thank you very much 2chainz , I just read the policy stating use of "see also" although not against Wikipedia polices is a lazy way of addressing orphan articles. I'm sorry I'm being a bore, but if you could spare out time and suggest better ways for me. I would really be grateful Celestina007 (talk) 19:26, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- I usually use the Find Link tool to dis-orphan an article. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 17:52, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
Could you please take a look at a recreation of a deleted page?
Hi, Oluwa2Chainz. A user has tried to publish a new version of the article Mayorkun, which was deleted after your nomination in November 2016. The new version has been speedy deleted a couple of times as a recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion, but the user has asked me to reconsider, please see [1]. I don't really think he has made a better case for notability this time round, but I wonder if you have any opinion of the new sources he has added, notably this? It's for an event that happened after the original deletion of the article. If you've got time to check it out, I'd appreciate it very much. I've put the old deleted version from November 2016 and the new (also deleted) version from February 2017 in my own userspace so you can take a look, if you would be so kind. Here they are: User:Bishonen/Mayorkun 18 November 2016 and User:Bishonen/Mayorkun 10 February 2017. Regards, Bishonen | talk 11:50, 17 February 2017 (UTC).
- Hello Bishonen, I think the article is just a case of too soon; basic blog announcements about his new songs and winning an award category isn't enough to establish notability. The creator of this version of the article has an obvious case of COI. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 12:19, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- I have indeed asked him about that, since Mayorkun is his only interest on Wikipedia. I agree about the blogs and awards; thanks very much for your quick response. Bishonen | talk 12:26, 17 February 2017 (UTC).

Need nsight to my newly posted article on Patricia Traxler
Hello -- As the original author of the Patrica Traxler (poet) article, can you please explain to me why it is in the Consideration for Deletion status? This person and all content is fully legitimate. In reviewing the deletion guidelines, perhaps I need more documentation (though I see that someone has gone in and added more already) I will do additional research and try to wire in more.... Documentation for somethings though might be impossible as records probably do not exist online, for example Universities where she has provided literary poetry and other readings. Any additional insight is appreciated... Thanks-- GG (limestone9) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Limestone9 (talk • contribs) 19:41, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

Limestone9 Ok, thanks... I had seen that, and went back and reviewed on your suggestion. I believe that I am on the right track and will continue to add reference. There is a lot of detail in Traxler's info dating back to the 1990's before and at the gate of the internet which is difficult to locate, if and where it exists. A lot of hard-copy documentation can be found per some items, but that obviously does not apply here. —Preceding undated comment added 13:38, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Its been over a year since that unfortunate incident occurred that result to your block. I want to appeal to you to trigger WP:STANDARDOFFER. From a neutral point of view, I think there is a good chance for you to get unblocked. While I commiserate with you, I understand the actions of BH, it shows that he/she will always implement administrative actions irrespective of the good-standing of the Wikipedian involved. For what its worth, I don't know what happened afterwards but at the time of your block, I had more reasons to think you are innocent than evidence demonstrating you're guilty. Since you left, there have been so many non notable Nigerian artists having articles on Wikipedia. I need you to come back and clean them up!
