The article Adéla Matasová has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 23:36, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs
[edit]Thank you for your recent articles, including Sternberg Madonna, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. This can be also done through this helpful user script: User:SD0001/DYK-helper. WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages
[edit]Thank you for your recent articles, including Sternberg Madonna, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:44, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]What do I have to do to convince you to (please) when adding of the museum under Representation in collections to:
- make sure the museum exists
- make sure the museum has a collection
- link to the Wikipedia (you can use {{Interlanguage link}} if there is no English article, but one exists in another language
- provide a source that makes it possible for a reader to verify that the museum does indeed have work by the artist, preferably specifically WHICH work
- include a link to the online collection of the museum, if they have one

[edit]Refspam

- I have obtained this book only recently and consider it a general reference to several topics. I will quote relevant information from it, including the pages where they are listed in the next few days.--NoJin (talk) 20:14, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Add the source when you add information to the article body that cites it. Adding the source preemptively still falls under WP:REFSPAM. CentreLeftRight ✉ 20:33, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- I still think, that general references (or further reading) are legitimate sources to the topic of the article.--NoJin (talk) 20:53, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Then you can add it to Further reading, but still, only where you are sure that it significantly relevant, this is not an invitation to simply add it to Further reading instead in all those articles. As you may notice, I have left your edits untouched for the cases were you added it to the Further reading section. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 21:22, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

- Hello SunDawn, I have translated the entire text of Zdeněk Beran from the Czech Wikipedia and did not abbreviate it, because this artist has a completely unique position in Czech art with his work and as a professor and vice rector at the Academy. I am open to any suggestions for improvement, but I wrote the original text over several weeks and carefully studied all sources. There is no research of my own in the text, it is a search of articles published by art historians and the text was peer reviewed before translation into English.--NoJin (talk) 21:15, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

- Hello Akevsharma, are you kidding or did you intend to offend me with that Teehouse. I am fouder and creator of the biggest project on art in Czech Wikipedia [1] and editor with 11 years of experience [2]. Jan Mikulka is an outstanding and one of the most successful living Czech painters. It is you problem, that you are unable to judge it from his work or international awards. To my opinion, the article was referenced adequately and by sources in English. NoJin (talk) 15:02, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
- @NoJin Teahouse is a template. So @Akevsharma may used a tool, which have created for him this text including the invitation to a Teahouse page. So think there is no need to be offended.
- @Akevsharma Here I should support NoJin. He is a part of the project translated to English Art Library. They are creating Wikipedia articles about Czech artists and artworks and translating them to English. You can read more about the project in this English blog post. And regarding to the citation problems. I can see, that the creator points out on the discussion page, that he thinks, that he had fullfiled all objections. So do you agree with him, or there are still some objections, which have to be addressed? Juandev (talk) 12:04, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
