Dear Wuhwuzdat :) In the spirit of "Please Don't Bite the Newcomers" I kindly request clarification on your call for the "Speedy Deletion" of my first attempt. As an aspiring sociologist I believe my article is of significant value for the discourse on "Post-Consumerism" or "Post-Materialism" (I will of course link the author to these existing topics/categories on Wikipedia as soon as I can figure out how to do that). Kind Regards, Nets NetsWiki (talk) 19:52, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- I've declined the speedy for now. But you must endeavor to follow our neutrality policy. Also, if you are the subject of the article please be sure to read and understand the Conflict of interest policy. See WP:Writing better articles for help on how to improve your article. -- Ϫ 23:07, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
I will endeavor indeed :) Thank you kindly. NetsWiki (talk) 05:35, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Dear OlEnglish! Given your positive feedback on my first article, I was wondering if you would please be so kind as to look at it again. It's under User:NetsWiki/Peter Block. Your recommendations and constructive criticism would be much appreciated. I have kept it short and simple for now in an attempt to protect my sanity should another speedy be thrown at me (was a knife to the heart that one!). Thanks in advance. - Actually, we have a Wikipedia:Requests for feedback process that you should take advantage of. It will allow you to get feedback from a wider audience. Just follow the instructions at the top of that page to post your link there and check back often, the people who patrol the page there are really good at giving feedback on new articles. -- Ϫ 16:59, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
