[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at William Fraser (architect), you may be blocked from editing. Seasider53 (talk) 19:04, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Disruptive editing
[edit]Hi - I'm Girth Summit, an administrator here. Your recent editing at William Fraser (architect) has been brought to my attention. Here's what I see: you and that article's main author got into a disagreement about an edit of yours at the article Brisbane. You didn't like the fact that your edit was being reverted, and suddenly arrived at an article that editor had written, and proposed its deletion, then removed a whole bunch of stuff. On the face of it, this looks for all the world like disruptive editing to make a point. I'd like to give you the opportunity to consider what you've done, and explain your actions; please do not edit that article again until you have explained your course of actions. Girth Summit (blether) 20:50, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- I've done a bit more digging. I'm guessing this comes down to this edit of yours. So, you can't base an assertion here on a lack of assertions to the contrary. If I want to assert that Girth Summit is the greatest Wikipedia editor ever, I need a source to support that - I can't just say that other editors haven't provided a source saying that there is a better editor out there. If there is a lack of information in the sources, we stay silent - we don't infer stuff. This is covered in more detail at WP:OR. I hope that we are done now, but let me know if you have any questions. Girth Summit (blether) 22:03, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- I had no idea what you were talking about until I noticed both you and Seasider53 use the same font. Ndiamar (talk) 23:11, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
ANI
[edit] There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Seasider53 (talk) 20:58, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Ndiamar,
- I suggest you respond at ANI as you appear to be on the verge of getting a block for your harrassment of editor Seasider53. Do you have a reason for targeting their work? I can't imagine you have a valid reason but some explanation might help you avoid being sanctioned. Liz Read! Talk! 00:04, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
