User talk:Mrtag
Welcome, Mrtag!
I'm glad you've decided to join us - this is a great project! We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,917,329 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
Here are a few links I found useful when I first arrived here:-
You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~
; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.
I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Otherwise, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
We hope you stick around, and make sure you enjoy yourself! Cheers, riana_dzasta 09:14, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to wikipedia. Hopefully you are not a single use account meant for vandalism. I have eliminated the Marathi script and mention as Marathi did not exist as a popular language at that time, nor was it an administrative language in the Rashtrakuta empire. If you want to add marathi script, you will have prove with English citation from verifiable source (not a marathi newspaper or journal) that it was used as an administrative language. If you continue bold edits without proof , it becomes vandalism and you will be facing "blocks" from administrators.thanks. welcome to wikipedia. Feel free to write in Sanskrit as it was a proven official language.Dineshkannambadi 12:57, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
My reply
[edit]Hopefully you are not a single use account meant for vandalism. Not hopefully but most certainly.
Reply-->Good. This page has seen enough vandalism in the past.
(not a marathi newspaper or journal) I take this as deep offense. How would u feel if I say u cant use newspaper or journal of ur language? You are not entitled to comment something like that. I can obviously use any citations from any Indian languages. Please refrain from making such immature statements.
Reply-->There is nothing to feel offended. I did not say anything against Marathi, if you notice. This is an English language wikipedia and all citations have to be in English or should be translated to English from any other language. There was a time when this had become an issue with another user who vandalised this page enough. By the way, none of the citations I have provided are in my native language. They are all in English. The reference books either have an ISBN or an OCLC number validating them.
Addition of Marathi script If u dont know, Rashtrakutas have ruled present day Maharashtra and Maharashtri Prakrit was also a prevalent then. This makes a strong reason inclusion of Marathi script.
Reply-->Just because the Rashtrakutas ruled Maharashtra also does not mean Maharashtri Prakrit was an official language. Please prove it with scholarly citations the way Wikipedia expects us to. This is all I expect. What you think or I think is inadmissible on wikipedia.
Thanks for ur warm welcome.
Reply-->I did not intend to be rude. My apologies. As I said, Some people in the past have harrassed this article no end without citations and with full of malice and prejudice. Thats all. Please bring your citations to the table and we can defnitely discuss this as people with good intentions. thanks.Dineshkannambadi 14:22, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Reply--> Marathi may have come from Maharashtri Prakrit, that does not mean you put Marathi there. You are trying to mislead people.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 14:41, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- You are vandalising the Seuna page and we know pretty well who you are.Dineshkannambadi 15:26, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Your language shows who is here with prejudice. I have cut and paste your "citation" on admin pages and intend to follow it up.Dineshkannambadi 15:34, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Citation-->All citations should come with book name , Author, publisher, ISBN or OCLC or any identification number validating its publication. All web links need to be accessable and should provide author, publisher and preferably be copywrited. I intend to follow up on your citations as I said and make sure they are valid.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 16:55, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- snippets are not citations. They dont provide context, author, page number, publisher. Learn to document history correctly.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 03:28, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Mrtag, I looked at those google searches - I am not sure how this service works, but it did not seem to provide a paragraph or such which has this content. It appears to only give the fact that a word is in the text. Can you explain things more clearly? Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:47, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Messages Dont leave any messages on my user page. Whatever you want to communicate, do it on the admins page, I will do the same.Dineshkannambadi 20:16, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]This account has been indef-blocked as it has been found to be a disruptive sock-account run by User:Sarvabhaum. The CheckUser was performed by Dmcdevit. - Aksi_great (talk) 19:37, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Who is Sarvabhaum? What rubbish things are being said against me.It seems a new tactic of Mr.Kannambadi to hide the truths of Rashtrakuta and Yadavas of Deogiri. Mind u I shall not abide to it. What disruption did i do? Mr.Kannambadi is distorting the facts.See rashtrakutas history page for instance. He has changed the 'lies' in haste. Dont think I will let others play with our history. Mrtag 04:00, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- I confirm that CheckUser shows this account to be an abusive sockpuppet of Sarvabhaum. See WP:SOCK. Dmcdevit·t 06:14, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- It seems a conspiracy against me started by Mr.Kannambadi and other users. I will not stop here. I will bring out the truth here. These shameless people have no decency to form a group and harrass a innocent user. 59.95.16.140 10:49, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Request reason:
all my accounts are blocked plz spare a account so that i can edit
Decline reason:
Not quite true -- your main account, User:Sarvabhaum, is blocked for 2 weeks (log), which means that block will expire on 12 January 2007 (status). Please note that continued sockpuppetry may lead to longer blocks -- if you limit yourself to the use of your main account, the block will expire on the 12th, and you will be able to edit at that time. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
