Revert at Darya Antonyuk

[edit]

Hello, I recently reverted your edit to Darya Antonyuk because the source pulls information from Wikipedia - and is thus not a reliable source because it is a circular reference. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, FifthFive (talk) 23:42, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Child labour in the British Industrial Revolution, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 04:47, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, as related to the above message about copyright, I'm seeing some text in this article that is nearly verbatim to its source. Please make sure to use your own words. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 04:47, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Housing in ...

[edit]

I note that you're creating a series of 'Housing in ...' articles (listed in Category:Housing in the United States by state or territory). However, they're all short, and about half of the text is duplicated (making common generic statements or commenting on the broader US picture). Might it not be better to just work on improving Housing in the United States, perhaps with sections for each state or territory? That page isn't very long, and could accommodate more. Klbrain (talk) 23:36, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The idea behind what I am doing is to make a foundation for me or other people to come in later and improve on what is currently there without having to make a whole new article. I am also not the first person to start doing this (all the edit histories for the article creation credit them for the template/basis). Also, the most of the statements aren't generic, 70% of the article is data that is specific to the state. Mikeycdiamond (talk) 02:12, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
