[edit]Hello, I'm Mikehawk10. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 06:05, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mikehawk10, There are a lot of coverage from reliable resources available, please do Google. MickyShy (talk) 06:07, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- @MickyShy: Per WP:MINREF,
Contentious material, whether negative, positive, or neutral, about living persons
requires an inline citation. If you have reliable sources that back it, please add inline citations when adding an individual's alleged involvement in sex abuse of others to an article. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 06:09, 10 October 2021 (UTC)- Thank You, i have already added two reliable references. MickyShy (talk) 06:10, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Notability Tag on Benjamin Gilmour
[edit]Hi. Hope you will be doing well. I am bit confused that why you put the tag of "does not meet notability guidelines" on the article I created about Benjamin Gilmour? The content is backed by more than 30 references (all independent sources) including some renowned sites. One of his movie was also nominated for Oscars and his books are best sellers. IP Block
[edit]Hi Materialscientist, i am not able to edit Wikipedia except my talk page. I see the below message when i try to edit even my own sandbox. "You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia due to a block affecting this IP address. Most people who see this message have done nothing wrong. Some kinds of blocks restrict editing from specific service providers or telecom companies in response to recent abuse or vandalism, and affect other users who are unrelated to that abuse. See below if you do not believe you have done anything wrong. Editing from 2401:4900:0:0:0:0:0:0/32 has been blocked (disabled) by Materialscientist for the following reason(s)" I am afraid. did i do anything wrong on Wikipedia? Did i break any Wikipedia guideline? MickyShy (talk) 04:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

The page Draft:Dan Cristian Marinescu has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 22:43, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello MickyShy. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MickyShy. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=MickyShy|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --Blablubbs (talk) 13:30, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Blablubbs, Can you please let me know where i am involved in paid editing? MickyShy (talk) 13:34, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- I am asking you whether you are. --Blablubbs (talk) 13:35, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- No, i am not. MickyShy (talk) 13:39, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- If you don't mind. May i ask you on what ground you sent me this COI notice? Where you think my contribution looks paid editing? MickyShy (talk) 13:41, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- No, i am not. MickyShy (talk) 13:39, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- I am asking you whether you are. --Blablubbs (talk) 13:35, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
Speedy Tag on Berozgaar Professors
[edit]Hey MickyShy, I noticed you CSD tagged Berozgaar Professors under G11 and A7 criteria. I want you to know that the reliability of this article has already been tagged, contested, discussed, and resolved here on Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2021_November_7 when I myself endorsed the deletion after agreeing on several terms. It was previously deleted as per G11, but then updated from a neutral point of view. You can see the article log which has the data on how many times the page was deleted and updated. Another consensus is that, you violated "No Start-Class article should be in any danger of being speedily deleted." on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Education/Assessment#Importance_scale. This article is a member of multiple projects, and you violated each of them by CSD tagging it. I've discussed this page enough times on several formal appeals raised by me, so it would be a great idea if you revert your CSD tag. Moreover, my employer wouldn't be happy with what's going on and I'll have to raise a formal appeal again if needed. Enormous Efrit (talk) 10:31, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
- You did it by your own using ip addresses: 103.139.191.74 The deletion tag is removed by this ip address. That is the strong indication of Sock. MickyShy (talk) 11:06, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
