References in the Animal rights article
[edit]Hello, Michael! I've just written a comment about the deleted references to works by Stephen R.L. Clark [1] on the Talk page of the Animal Rights article, and would appreciate your reading it. Hoping for clarification... Thanks, Deborahjay 10:21, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello again -- have read yours, and replied at (a) my Talk page and (b) the article's. Hope something productive develops, but for now, I do believe we've contributed positively to the discussion. Cheers -- Deborahjay 11:39, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Eclipse (magazine) Article
[edit]Yo. I don't think this needs deletion so much as it needs to be a bit more NPOV. I think it verges on vanity article/non-importance but I don't think it's quite bad enough to be deleted. Example: there needs to be some reference to the fact that many people feel the formatting is actually quite rubbish.
I'll try to clean it a bit. Stuff like "Sporting an obsession", "Eclipse had developed a formidable reputation", "but now to a radical ensemble of two editiors with minds as one."," much-hyped advertising campaign" (??? Some posters ?!?), "Eclipse...is currently thriving" seems a bit OTT. Hardrada 12:01, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Wikiproject Proposal
[edit]Hi, I am posting this message to everyone who has edited on animal rights or animal welfare related articles in the last couple of months. I have just created a proposal for a WikiProject to help co-ordinate editors on the many articles under the mentioned subjects. If you would like to find out about it or show your support for such a project, please visit User:Localzuk/Animal Rights Proposal and Wikipedia:WikiProject/List of proposed projects#WikiProject Animal Rights and Welfare. Help fight systematic bias
[edit]Dear Michael,
I would like to draw your attention to the discussion currently ongoing at Talk:Popsicle. If you are interested in helping to counter systematic bias towards North America, and instead establish Wikipedia as an international website, then please feel welcome to contribute with your opinions. Thank you. EuroSong talk 13:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Rather worrying item
[edit]If you are the Michael Curtis I think you are, you may be somewhat worried by WP:TOJO, especially the suggested identity of the vandal (KGB).

Laurent Pariente and its AfD
[edit]Could you please take a look at the latest version of the Laurent Pariente article? I discarded a lot of the text from the original article. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 02:13, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
Help out now!
[edit]- Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
- Give people the Civility Barnstar.
- Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
- Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
- Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
Decision Making
[edit]The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.

AfD
[edit]Hi Michaelrccurtis, this is a message I'm posting to everyone who participated in this AfD. I have nominated the same article for deletion again here – you might be interested. Regards, KissL 09:02, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 15:36, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I have taken the "List of Companies" problem (what to do with an entire class of articles that get repeatedly submitted for deletion en mass?) for debate to two different places. This really needs to be solved once and for all (we can't keep debating the same stuff for eternity). Would you take a look at either the discussion on the Village Pump or the relevant wikiproject? Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
- Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
