NOTE: My username used to be ‘Michaelbeijer’ but I recently switched to ‘MichaelBeijer’ since it was annoying me. There seems to be no way to merge delete or rename users on Wikipedia, so I will simply continue here. — Preceding undated comment added 15:32, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I hate to bother you, but can you find some references or citations that define this term? Bearian (talk) 23:20, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, sorry! To be honest I just don't know how to actually add references yet, but I am working on it. Michael Beijer (talk) 23:31, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Michaelbeijer. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Veritas Language Solutions, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 10:32, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi JamesBWatson (talk), thanks for the info. I am indeed close to the subject, as I was previously employed by Veritas Language Solutions as a translator on a freelance basis. However, I feel that this article is in dire need of being balanced out, as it currently appears to have been written by Veritas staff or management. I can't verify this, but find it hard to believe that all the content of the original "Veritas Language Solutions" page (now redirected to http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Planet_Veritas) was written by someone who is 100% impartial. Why would anyone go through the trouble of writing so glowingly about a company they are not connected to in any way?

I will do my best to ensure everything I write on Wikipedia on this subject is as impartial and neutral as possible. That's also the reason I made sure to stick to the Talk page, rather than immediately start rewriting or adding to the main article. I also just noticed that someone called "Sam Sailor" is currently rewriting parts of the main article to better reflect the actual, current situation, which is good. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Business Information Management, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:31, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Michaelbeijer. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Business Information Management".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Business Information Management}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 20:34, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Cafetran Espresso (May 24)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reasons left by Sulfurboy were: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Requests to fix basic issues continually ignored. Most recent submission was done with zero improvements which is considered WP:GAMING they system. Topic very likely isn't notable anyways. Article is rejected.
