[edit]There is no policy or guideline that says he name X should only be used on Twitter-related pages
(diff). voorts (talk/contributions) 02:36, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Alternative names for entities or subjects should only be used on pages or sections directly related to the entity or subject in question. Our article on Twitter is not called X (formerly Twitter). Mia Mahey (talk) 02:48, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Alternative names for entities or subjects should only be used on pages or sections directly related to the entity or subject in question.
Could you please point to a policy or guideline that supports your point. voorts (talk/contributions) 02:53, 20 April 2024 (UTC)- WP:COMMONNAME. Mia Mahey (talk) 03:03, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- COMMONNAME is part of a policy regarding how we title articles in the mainspace, not about how we refer to companies in prose in policy pages in the projectspace. voorts (talk/contributions) 03:12, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- WP:TLDR also applies. Links to Wikipedia articles should be no longer than necessary to unambiguously identify the article's subject. Mia Mahey (talk) 03:22, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for your contributions. I've requested a revert of your recent moved of Bejeweled. When moving articles, please check the talkpage first to see if there are previous WP:RM discussions - in this case, a 2022 RM found no consensus to move. See WP:PCM. 162 etc. (talk) 22:04, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- There is a Taylor Swift single with the same name, which receives almost twice as many page views as the video game over the past year. This warrants a WP:NOPRIMARY page move. Mia Mahey (talk) 22:26, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Perhaps so - I was in favour of such a move in the 2022 discussion. However, there was no consensus. Feel free to start a new RM. 162 etc. (talk) 16:09, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
