RE:Really?

Yeah. We've had a pretty lengthy discussion about it already, and it helps differentiate between fact and fiction, which is the only way to get Featured Articles (see December to Dismember (2006) and SummerSlam (2003). A lot of the people who didn't like it at first, have actually grown to like it and have been quite vocal about implementing it in all the articles. We are still trying to tweak it a bit, though, so that may not be the final product. Nikki311 23:14, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Re: Lance Cade

You don't have to get my opinion to reword something. ;) If you think it'll sound better/morec clear/whatever, your way feel free to. Improving articles is the goal here. Yea, if you can reference his daughters name, by all means add it in, but reference it. Also, please don't edit my archives to leave me messages, as you did here. You were lucky I even noticed the thread. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:15, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

It's no problem. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart15:53, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

I would like to solicit feedback concerning moving this to Adam Jones (football). It makes sense to me, but is there consensus? Please opine in the section of the article talk page. Cheers, Dlohcierekim's sock (talk) 21:02, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Can you provide a reliable source for Christopher Daniels's birthdate? Little Red Riding Hoodtalk 22:42, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Tito Ortiz

Greetings, I just wanted to give you a heads up. I reverted this edit of yours[1]. It looked like some sort of error, but I wasn't sure what you were trying to do.--Cube lurker (talk) 16:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Are we looking at the same diff[2]? The reversion I made was the addition of the name "Paul Taylor" in the middle of a reference template?--Cube lurker (talk) 17:11, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Just got the second message. All good.--Cube lurker (talk) 17:12, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Hogan

[3] Is this resolved now? I thought it was about the ages, but that was covered in one of the refs in that paragraph. The issue you meant has a rather amusing cause, actually. I found it amusing, anyway. Gimmetrow 07:28, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Needs it's own citation?

Flags

Hello,

Per WP:MOSFLAGS, country flags are not to be listed next to an athlete's name (in this case, Gina Carano) in their infobox. Aktsu first corrected me on this matter a couple of weeks ago.

I have reverted the flag edit, but you can discuss this further with Aktsu if you wish to reach an official consensus with regards to mixed martial artists, specifically.

AfD nomination of Mike Dolce

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Mike Dolce. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mike Dolce. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:21, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Message moved from userpage

User:Team XC, who seems to be claiming to be Erin Toughill, added this to your userpage. I've moved it, which is where she should post messages.

MGTurtle: I am contacting you to STOP editing "Erin Toughill's" WIKI page. There are three Wiki users I am contacting, as the three of you are adding and deleting information on my page, and I have notified Wiki (and the 3 of you) to STOP. If it is fight information or anything regarding her fighting career, fine. Stop deleting and posting personal information that I want on the page.

She doesn't seem to be fond of me either . . . Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 22:17, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

December 2009

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Erin Toughill. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

I would normally have given a lower-level warning for this but 1. you've been involved in this particular situation for a while, and 2. this is no longer a Wikipedia dispute and confidential information has been brought to my attention through the OTRS system which warrants the material's removal. Orderinchaos 01:00, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Quite simply, Wikipedia has a "do no harm" policy. As you'd know, Wikipedia is not a "free site" - it's run by a private, non profit organisation known as the Wikimedia Foundation. They take their legal and ethical responsibilities seriously, and one part of that is having a mechanism by which people can bring stuff confidentially to the Foundation's attention. This allows the Foundation and its appropriately accredited volunteers (known as OTRS admins) to de-escalate situations that have caused or have the potential to cause real consequences for the subjects of articles. That was pretty much exactly what happened here. Like I said, the information is confidential so I can't say how or why it was problematic, although I ran it past one other person (similarly accredited) and we both believe it passes the "any reasonable person in possession of this information would make the same decision" test, but in removing it I was exercising the Foundation's prerogative to remove material from its sites rather than acting as a normal Wikipedia editor. An article that you worked on, Pamela Paulshock, is now up for deletion. You are welcome to comment on the deletion page. Thank you. Ikip 23:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Booker T, convicted felon

Booker T is still a convicted felon, not "was". His status as a convicted felon remains intact, unless he is pardoned by the Governor of Texas, which is highly unlikely. Just because he has served his sentence, and was released early on parole does not remove his convicted felon status. If you do not understand this aspect of law, you should not change the article as a result.

Prison section readded to Booker Huffman, as it is factual, and supported by 2 credible references; your biased POV edit to remove it did not go unnoticed. 71.176.59.101 (talk) 19:48, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Aldo/Faber fight

Perhaps you should simply re-word the paragraph instead of deleting it. It's poorly worded as it is. Maybe you could fix it? Jonas Poole (talk) 02:27, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

What's your problem? Even another user agrees it should be there. I re-worded it a bit and shortened it, yet you again removed it? Why? How's it biased? What, are you some Faber fan hurt by his loss? Jonas Poole (talk) 20:14, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Cole Province

An article that you have been involved in editing, Cole Province, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cole Province. Thank you.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. jmcw (talk) 10:11, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Absolutely. I'll add some information and links to the page tonight. Great work in expanding all of the fighter pages with fight details and locations/notes lately, by the way.FemaleMMAFan (talk) 23:09, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Mr. Kennedy

He states on the DVD that during his first TNA run he was dating ODB. Cite video is just as legit of a way to source things as any other way. Many featured articles cite magazines and TV episodes, that can't be verified instantly either.TheFBH (talk) 09:54, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
