Request for phoenix mars page

[edit]

on the wiki page for the Phoenix mars probe mission could you please undo your revisions regarding the "cloud" image, it was better placed with the launch section because it is more relevant when taken in context with the launch. Down there it just is out of place. thank you.

Thanks for your comments. I agree that this photo would be more appropriate in the Launch section, but there's barely enough room there for the photo that's still there. There's actually a total of three launch-related photos in the Gallery section, which if you ask me is way too many to go in the body of the article. That's probably why someone created the Gallery section near the end of the article, which is the usual place for that sort of thing. -- Beland (talk) 17:39, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 09:26, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rad6000 2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:01, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Project mons has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No secondary sources discuss this minor high school project.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
