Why can't I edit a semi-protected article? MadWrites (talk) 14:50, 18 June 2012 (UTC)}}[reply]

Because to do that your account needs to be WP:Autoconfirmed, which requires it to be four days old (no problem) and to have made ten edits - the above is only your eighth, but you're nearly there... Regards, JohnCD (talk) 14:58, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks JohnCD, you have been helpful. MadWrites (talk) 15:01, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi MadWrites and Welcome to Wikipedia! I was just about to reply you with the same help answer :) Anyways you are very near of reaching Auto-confirmed status which is granted automatically by the software to user accounts which are more than 4 days old and have made minimum 10 edits. I have got a very good solution for you, just make at least 2 edits to Wikipedia:Sandbox which is made for test edits and as your account is already more than 4 days old, after making your second edit, you will automatically become autoconfirmed! I hope that helps you :) Regards and Happy Editing! TheGeneralUser (talk) 15:11, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
