[edit]Hello, I'm Aydoh8. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Virtual reality in nursing—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. Aydoh8[contribs] 12:38, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Aydoh8,
- Thank you for your feedback, my edit to these websites has nothing to do with advertisement, rather, it is for educational purposes only, as I am a 3d artist myself and enthusiast about the 3d industry in general and the virtual reality as well, so I am trying to add new information regarding the new software that are being used in the VR/XR/AR industry which can be very helpful for future readers who are interested in learning these software and create similar extraordinary VR experiences, however, sometimes, it is hard to come by with links or references from external webpages, as some of these software are new. M.abutaleb88 (talk) 08:08, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- I also understand that it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between advertising and education, as the line separating them is quite thin, and some information tended to be for educational purposes may come as advertisement and vice versa. M.abutaleb88 (talk) 08:16, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 13:46, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

- The line isn't hard to locate here - you were very obviously linkspamming. If you continue to try to advertise this company on Wikipedia, you can expect that your account will be blocked and/or the site will be added to Wikipedia's spam blacklist. MrOllie (talk) 11:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello MrOllie,
- Thank you for your response. I appreciate your guidance regarding the external links on Wikipedia. I want to clarify that my intention was to contribute valuable information about new software in the VR/XR/AR industry that could benefit readers interested in these technologies.
- I understand that the distinction between educational content and advertising can sometimes be subjective. My goal is to enhance the informational quality of the articles rather than to promote any specific company. I acknowledge your concerns about link spamming, and I will be more mindful of this in the future.
- If there are specific guidelines or additional references you would recommend that could support my contributions, I would be grateful for your input. My aim is to support the community and provide useful insights, and I value the collaborative nature of Wikipedia.
- Thank you again for your feedback.
- Best regards,
- M.abutaleb88 M.abutaleb88 (talk) 12:16, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- I would recommend that you look at the links already posted in the warning messages above, and stop pasting non-responsive AI generated text as replies. MrOllie (talk) 12:18, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:M.abutaleb88/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:M.abutaleb88/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. MrOllie (talk) 11:38, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
