Vlinderartikelen

[edit]

Ah, goed werk.

Ruigeroeland (talk) 08:47, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Human Rights and POV

[edit]

Hello Lymantria, the reason I addressed JZ85 was because his previous encounter with a user made him bias, thus forcing him to promote his POV here, trying to influence a referee to see his POV. It seems to me that he should at the very least think about the bias his action contains and consider the larger issue of the basic human right to freedom of speech involved. I have not made a formal complaint since I assumed his good will. That is why I asked him decently to consider his actions. He repaid me with slander however, which again proves his bias and therewith the inappropriate function he holds at nl.wiki. I hope that you can see the importance of letting go of previous encounters as bias towards a new encounter, since it is mandated in any court case to view trials separately so the verdicts may be unbiased. Even though I view your mention of support towards him as a similarly biased action, showing a POV, I hope you will refrain from adding such biased static in the future. Any dispute should be settled between two users without the involvement of other users or referees. If other users or referees get involved clearly something is wrong with the user needing such involvement. Since I have not made any formal complaint yet and am trying to talk things over in a decent manner so he will start to think about what exactly he is doing it seems to me that you should stay out of this. I would appreciate it if you would since I think JZ85 needs to consider his own POV and his neglecting a basic human right and trying to influence a referee for his POV. Thank you in advance. --Faust (talk) 18:08, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Addition: I apologise for not changing the username. I made MoiraMoira the same request you see; or rather: you the same request as her.

Not so. If I feel myself to use the JZ85 talk page to support him with a little joke for whatever reason, there cannot by any reason I should not do so, other than that JZ85 wouldn't like it. Furhtermore, the accusations of violation of Human Rights are severe, but without any firm ground. You seem to mix up "Freedom of speech" with "Obligation to publish". The latter is not one of the Human Rights. This way of discussing by extreme but clearly false accusations in my honest opinion is unethical. Lymantria (talk) 18:39, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lymatra, I am very serious in my remark that trying to silence an individual is a serious offense. I have not made a case out of it however, because the referee has judged on the basis of other considerations. I do feel JZ85 should reflect on his actions though and I am sorry to read that you misunderstand me and the universal human rights. --Faust (talk) 08:53, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have the slightest indication that JZ85 is trying to silence you outside wikipedia? As within nl-wikipedia he is one of the persons appointed by the wikipedia-community to do so if necessary on behalf of the community. And that does not come close to bounderies of freedom of speech, as that freedom does not imply that a third party (newspaper, radiostation, tv-station, website, or whatever) has an obligation to publish anything that is put forward.
If you have problems with the decision taken by nl-wikipedia on your behalf, you should bring it under consideration there (you might write the ArbCom), and you should not harass some of the nl-wikipedia administrators here with grotesque complains and export your problems this way to other wiki-projects. Flickr review

[edit]

Not sure what that was all about. I used the upload wizard to upload these photos. Next thing I know, a bot is coming by doing some kind of tagging about Flickr. Acdixon (talk contribs count) 17:59, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I fixed it. Perhaps next time you might look into it yourself, if this happens again. Kind regards, Lymantria (talk) 07:50, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
