Disambiguation link notification for December 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cham language, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Khánh Hòa and Bình Thuận. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 08:00, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Why are you adding people to categories with no references or even a mention of their religion anywhere in their article? Please stop, or at least add a ref to show that they are said religion. - Adolphus79 (talk) 21:27, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

- What is that? How does it help? If they are references for those specific people, then they need to be added to each article (with content stating the person's religion), not here. If the article does not mention the person's religion (cited with a reliable source), then you can't put them in the category. - Adolphus79 (talk) 21:40, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- Do not manually revert my edits if you are not going to add cited content to the article about their religion. This could be considered disruptive. "Look at his facebook" is not how Wikipedia works. - Adolphus79 (talk) 21:45, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
There is absolutely no reason to be rude, like in these edit summaries. I was not rude to you, I only asked you to follow the standard policies that we have in place here on Wikipedia (especially for biographies of living people). Yes, that is the proper way to add content and then add the category. - Adolphus79 (talk) 21:54, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Adolphus79: Yes, I apologize for that too. I was a little annoyed earlier. Because maybe I a new user and have to learn a lot more about Wikipedia. I thank you for the suggestion and let him know. Ly Samath (talk) 22:10, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- There is nothing wrong with being a new user, we were all new once! Just please understand that we have certain standards around here, especially for BLPs and civility. There is no harm in asking for help if you don't understand something (or the reason something was done). If you need any help in the future, feel free to ask here or on my talk page, I am happy to help you improve the articles. Happy editing! - Adolphus79 (talk) 22:14, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

Please leave an edit summary for every edit you make.
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Southeast Maluku riots did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. I notice that a lot of your edits do not have an edit summary, or if they do it is just the default text.
In the Southeast Maluku riots article, I think you linked to the wrong term about Customs, when you meant Customary law. I have boldly changed the wiki-link and explained myself on the talk page. If you disagree feel free to undo my edit. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:01, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
