Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question in the Newcomers' Village Pump or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
Katherine/Catherine
Hi Lesgles,
I'm so sorry about the Katherine/Catherine split. I'm new to Wikipedia and I hadn't realized that there were proper channels to go through. I'll look at the discussion pages from now on. Feel free to re-merge the pages. Just keep Catherine Booth in there. That's the only reason I started editing the page in the first place.

Great edits at Stonehenge!
Hi Lesgles,
Great edits on Stonehenge! It looks a lot better now. Dbenbenn 16:14, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Spelling
Hi, on articles about Britain -ised isn't a spelling mistake, hence why it appears repeatedly. Joe D (t) 16:03, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- See my response on your talk page. -ize is a perfectly good British spelling (see the O.E.D. and Fowler); I was trying to fix the inconsistency in the article, which had both -ise and -ize. Lesgles 15:29, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
French pronunciations
Hi! I noticed your IPA pronunciation in Montaigne; it is very much appreciated. Could you do the same for Trompe l'oeil if you get a chance? Thanks and cheers, AxelBoldt 16:58, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Aide pour traduire une phrase
Bonjour Lesgles,
Voilà : Do what thou wilt.
Image size change
Since you asked, I think the image size change at {{French language}} was a good move. —RuakhTALK 02:08, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Une1312.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Une1312.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image tagging for Image:Lecontedelisle.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lecontedelisle.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thou
The Thou article received heavy editing recently, which I noticed at WikiRage.com. According to Wikipedia Page History Statistics, you are one of the top contributors to that page. Since it has been a few months since you edited that article, I wanted to bring this to your attention in case you wanted to review your contributions to that article. Thanks. -- Jreferee (Talk) 17:16, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
