On Kolar Gold Fields
I saw a note from you stating that my edits to Kolar gold fields are personal analysis. I lived 18 years in KGF and have also got a lot of good research on the populations of Kolar and Bangalore Districts.
Kindly tell me which edits are based on personal analysis.
Kindly justify the following information:
a. The local 'illiterate' Kannada under Birth of the city - what is the basis to assess the literacy? b. Languages spoken in KGF is mainly tamil? Any data on this? c. KGF natives are Tamils? c. Legend on discovery of KGF? Invented story being written for convenience?
Please let me know how you justify the above? Also which of my edits are incorrect.
I am surprised at the lack of data in writing up this article. All lines that do not have data have to be deleted. The majority of the people of KGF are non Tamils but this is a Tamil propoganda. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tellasitis (talk • contribs) 06:54, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
I would strongly request that the content of this article be reviewed for information that has no references and delete it since it is written in a manner to willfully misrepresent information. Any information without good references (not even junk websites) should be curtailed since it sensitive information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tellasitis (talk • contribs) 07:37, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
On Gowda
Abhishek,
One has to balance accuracy of information over a judgement of bias.
Gowda is a caste name of Vokkaligas and share common roots with Gavunders of KonguNadu till 9th Century. Vokkaliga and Gowda are interchangably used but the vokkaliga is the name of the profession while Gowda is the caste name which evolved from Gavunda.
We can add paragraphs on the usage of Gowda by other communities but fact remains that Gowda is a caste name. One cannot change the caste name because other groups are using it. This is similar to Reddy being a caste name and alos meaning village Headman.
Goud in AP is a different community and has its own page.
Why should Gowda a caste in it most common usage be denied the usage of this page if seperate paras can show the other usages of the same term?
Again, let me know where is the Bias so I can correct if required. Yet one has to also correctly represent information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tellasitis (talk • contribs) 07:33, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Some Facts
Dear Abhishek,
You have completely mistook my views and edits or you have a hidden agenda to me. For about Kochi, Commercial Capital of Kerala is a valid one and a group ips and users trying to remove it. The commercial capital tag is an official and it has n number official and unofficial references. The tags for other cities in kerala remain same without any reference. For eg: Thrissur (Cultural Capital), Trivandrum (Evergreen City) etc... .. New Delhi is the capital of India, but a group of peoples and ips come and it is not, and then is it mandatory we should convince them? I don’t know much about it wiki.
Then about Nemom article:- Somebody trying to put Nemom railway station name Trivandrum Nemom. There is no such name for that station. For any reference www.indianrail.gov.in. and also somebody put some express trains stop there. Till date (23/06/2011) no expess trains stops at Nemom. Then Kerala page, Ernakulam Town (One of the four A1 graded stations in Kerala) Railway Station handles 41 pairs of trains daily. In the same page stations include like Kasaragod Railway stations handles (34 pairs of TRAINS), ALLEPPY station (26 pairs of trains), Kochuveli (Just 9 pairs of trains only) and Trivandrum Central (39 pairs of trains). You can get these informations from the above mentioned Indian Railway website. It is proved that some anonymous ips and users tried to mistook to administrators and they succeeded it. They all are Trivandrum biased editors. If you look at their contributions in detail you can find it. Then about User:Samaleks: Till date I never revert any new contribution done by samaleks. You can check our contributions and edit history. Samaleks always trying to revert my edits. Even I appreciated him for creating a new article to wiki. Actually I took a gap in May month in wiki. Surprisingly, the same samaleks is missing the same May month. Then I came in to wiki on June, suddenly user Samaleks reached in wiki. I do not have any solid proofs regarding these. I request you to check at least my contributions to wiki for verifying any vandalism that I did. For your kind information I suspect Kerala related pages in wiki are in the hands of Trivandrum biased editors. You already informed to administrators, that I am doing editing with some other ips. For the past 3 years, I have only one internet connection. I ready to provide more references on your request regarding any of the points mentioned above.
You just check the edit summaries of ip address 117.230.140.22 in Nemom article- [3] and [4]. Is these are allowable in wiki? If I am going to edit these again, I am sure, I will get a block from admins due to you. Expecting a neutral point of view from you in all way.

why did you revert my edit today??
Dear Abhishek191288
Earlier today, after I spent about 3 hours making changes to the "pentagram map" wiki page, you reverted it to the old (and highly sketchy + inaccurate) version. This caused me to lose 3 hours of my time. Why did you do this? In fact, I am the originator of the pentagram map, and within the mathematics community am considered an authority on the thing. The history I had been writing (which you seemed to object to) was accurate, and entirely supported by references to published mathematics literature. I would like to say that, in fact, I was improving the page and not vandalizing it. I am the originator of the pentagram map, and also widely considered to be a leading authority on it.
Why did you think I was vandalizing the page?

2. My talk page has several serious warnings and allegations to the effect

Though i do own the record label that the page is concerning, I am a huge advocate for unbiased, straight forward information when concerning a site like yours. i've sited my sources correctly and the only other information i will ever edit is the list of releases we put out as it grows through the years. I have no interest in promoting or advertising with your site or the page within which i created. I am more than capable of accomplishing this through the proper channels (i.e. record collecting websites, magazines dedicated to the types of music we release, and online forums just for this purpose). And (by another amazing coincidence) I too know nothing of Kerala's history. I'm approaching this as a structural and organisational problem to be resolved for the benefit of our readership. Just so's you know. Haploidavey (talk) 15:52, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Spicejet
Is this 2nd box really necessary? Couldn't it be merged with the 1st one, which has also some key company infos?--Malaikaran (talk) 16:33, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm. Just see the template
{{Infobox airline}}
. If it has all the parameters presented in the 2nd infobox, then go ahead and merge the two. Cheers! — Abhishek Talk to me 16:42, 28 June 2011 (UTC)- I've placed a request in the template discussion page. Maybe we'll get a proper solution.--Malaikaran (talk) 18:39, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Merging of
{{Infobox airline}}
with{{Infobox company}}
can never happen. What about companies like Sony, Samsung, CISCO, Infosys, etc? Do they have operating bases, focus cities, destinations, etc? Well no. So your discussion is not worth there. All I asked you to do is to look up at the template's page and see what all parameters are present in the template and if info on these parameters are present in the 2nd infobox (for SpiceJet only), then youmay merge the two infoboxes. Never mind I'll do it myself. 18:44, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Bengaluru or Bangalore.
Hi, I have been following the discussion on the Bangalore page about whether the title should be Bangalore or Bengaluru. Since you said that the central government had not officially agreed to it, here's news to the contrary. "The Central government has given permission for the renaming of 12 cities of Karnataka." The source here
Of course, there should be a redirect page from bangalore to bengaluru, but since the city is now OFFICIALLY bengaluru, every other mention of bangalore, I think can be cleared.
I hope you will now withdraw your opposition to the title change.

- (talk page stalker)I hope you take time out and read Wikipedia's naming policy. Besides, only the cabinet has okayed it, and not the parliament. It still has to go to both houses and then the President. On both counts, the name still remains Bangalore. Lynch7 06:09, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- PS:Abhishek, thanks for the vandalism reverts on my talk page; looks like that guy never gives up. Lynch7 06:09, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Your most welcome Mike. I was away for a while, so thanks for replying to the newbie. — Abhishek Talk to me 07:11, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
I did read the naming policy and Abhishek will tell you that the majority of Karnataka's population(who are not too proficient in the English language) call it Bengaluru. I mean would you say "naanu bengaluride hooda" or "naanu bangalore hooda"? It is only a minority(albeit a large one, I concede) that call it Bangalore. But yeah, on the other point about the parliament, I guess I can wait till the parliament passes it. Tar Miriel Tar-Miriel (talk) 07:59, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Great. But please remember that this is the English Wikipedia, and English language sources are usually seen in determining the name of the article. In Kannada Wikipedia, for example, it is mentioned as kn:ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (Bengaluru), and not something like ಬ್ಯಾಂಗಳೂರ್ (Bangalore). When the common name situation has changed appreciably, you may start a new move proposal. Thanks for your cooperation. Lynch7 08:06, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

- I suggest you to take the matter to the talk page. I'll put this page on my watchlist. And I hope you won't continue your Tu-Tu Mein-Mein. — Abhishek Talk to me 13:20, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Abhishek, I agree with you. But if someone put a complete wrong information in wiki, is it mandatory to convince them to revert?. Are you practice the same? Take my talks as a +ve approach. You just go through that page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Bijuts (talk • contribs) 18:56, 29 June 2011
- You can't help it happens many a times. From what I have seen about your edits, you just keep reverting. That's why you should seek immediate help from another editor so that you don't fall in the danger of violating the 3RR. It has happened to me many a times. I have got blocked too for this reason and have learnt a lesson. As for KVCL, I have no idea what the dispute is. So why don't you start a discussion on the talk regarding the dispute and if the IP fails to reach consensus, then you can obtain a semi-protection of the article. — Abhishek Talk to me 13:55, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Abhishek. --Bijuts (talk) 13:36, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
