[edit]Dowsett
[edit]Hi LM, You seem to know more about cycling than me, but just wondering why you removed the Tirreno–Adriatico ITT result I added to the Dowsett article. Thanks! Ericoides (talk) 20:16, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Ericoides, in the case of all stage races (including the grand tours) only the winner of the stage has the result displayed in their ‘major results’ section . This doesn’t include 2nd, 3rd, 4th place, etc. However in the case of all one day races (including national championships), the entire top 10 has their result displayed in their ‘major results’ section. Hope this clears your query up. Thanks! LM383 (talk) 21:10, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
- Ah, OK, makes sense. Thanks! Ericoides (talk) 21:46, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

Win count
[edit]Hello. Please stop removing the win counts from the major results. If you think there is a valid reason to do so, then start a discussion first to reach a consensus. Thanks. Seacactus 13 (talk) 23:05, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- You clearly didn’t reach a consensus to put the win counts on major results anyways. LM383 (talk) 23:25, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- If you would actually look at the edit histories, I didn't even add them, it was several others. So if several people all seem to be in agreement, why does your single opinion override the general consensus to include it without even trying to start a discussion? Again, if you have an issue with it, feel free to explain it, at least even if its just an edit summary. Seacactus 13 (talk) 04:26, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
