Creation Myth

[edit]

Hello. I moved the page to Creation Myth (sculpture) in case you want to change the title of the AfD (if you don't want to cancel it outright, it meets GNG with the new art museum references, artworks are "deemed" reputable by a reference from their holding museums). Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:09, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed your fossil jaguar footprints, I've never heard of these and quite impressive. Thanks. Came here to thank you for your AfD change, it's all-too-rare for nominator's to switch, and even after editors present solid data most stick to their initial objection. I don't understand that but find it an interesting real-life example of how difficult it is for people to change their minds (neural pathways play a big part in that). I would have left this note on the AfD itself but felt this was a better route after previous comments there (and glad I did, getting me to put attention on the jaguars, who used to roam the entire North American continent). Randy Kryn, if you look back through my AfD stats, I will always change or withdraw a nom if I don't think I was correct. My goal is to improve the wiki, not rack up imaginary deletion points. As to the jaguar prints, you should look through the article on devil step hollow cave and click through the references. It's fantastic cave art. — Kingsmasher678 (talk) 17:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's why the thanks, that you are able to do that. Wikipedia provides a good laboratory for human behavior, and the ability to "change your mind" is not as common as people would think. I read some of the cave page after seeing your photograph and was wondering if there would be anyone else on w. that it could be presented. Fossil track seems an obvious location for its additional use. Randy Kryn (talk) 10:12, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
