Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014 in Kunlun Fight, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Valentina Shevchenko. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:42, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

@KINGFEDORQc: you've also been editing the Kunlun Fight page of which I'm very glad! I removed a few refs you added to the first paragraph as I though they weren't clearly related to the text in that specific paragraph. In my opinion at least, adding refs like http://www.chinamoneynetwork.com/2016/03/18/kunlun-fight-secures-31m-series-b-round-from-top-venture-firms or http://mma-in-asia.com/region/china/kunlun-fight-full-mma-cage-event/ support different kind of information than what's in the first paragraph. I added in a bit about the finances. You could write something about the MMA bouts under History -heading or maybe on it's own further down the page that would be nice. I appreciate all the contributions you've made so far! ShadessKB (talk) 01:24, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve 2019 in Absolute Championship Akhmat

[edit]

Thanks for creating 2019 in Absolute Championship Akhmat.

A New Page Patroller Meatsgains just tagged the page as having some issues to fix, and wrote this note for you:

Consider providing reliable sources to strengthen the page's verifiability.

2019 in M-1 Global moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2019 in M-1 Global, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. A tag has been placed on File:Kickboxing1.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 in Glory, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lint (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). hello

[edit]

I'll probably change the Kunlun weights back to what they were, at least unless you REALLY object to it. I'd kind of like to say Kunlun doesn't really have weight classes for their kickboxing, they do whatever weights suit them kinda. Also 70 kg for example they've called Super Welterweight or Welterweight, so calling that lightweight more from the MMA side of things and because some half-random guy probably copypasted it to their english site (which also has the english name of their company wrong) I'd say isn't a great source for reference, sadly. Calling fights catchweight when they're at agreed upon weights doesn't make a lot of sense either, Kunlun 88 being nearly all catchweight then as an example. Also it's how they are on the other Kunlun year year pages, I've kinda tried to have a little consistency on how things are over the pages. Appreciate you adding to the 2019 results so I didn't need to do all of them! Shadess (talk) 19:19, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I know it's how they are on the other Kunlun year year pages it's me who have created these pages. I'm ok for the change in the weight class, but i will make some change with some superfluous things (date and some linking).excuse i'm not a good writer in english haha KINGFEDORQc (talk) 20:02, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Updating the kickboxing notability guidelines

[edit]

Hello,

I've recently posted a suggestion for changing the kickboxing guidelines on the Task Force talk page, with the aim of more accurately reflecting the state of the current sports and tightening up the guidelines. A few people have already chimed in with their opinions, and I would be glad if you'd give your opinion as well, should you have the time. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Glory 77 event poster.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Glory 77 event poster.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 15:49, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Glory 77 event poster.jpg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. As previously noted to you and stated on the deletion tag itself. If you are disputing the deletion, do so on the file talk page. Whpq (talk) 03:02, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 05:50, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
