[edit]Edit comments
[edit]Hi Jsp104748, it'd be much appreciated if you could supply a short edit comment for each edit, such as "adding categories" (or even "cats" if you'd like to be brief!). It's helpful to other editors (and I see there are many similar edits) as it means the rest of us don't have to waste time checking for vandalism and suchlike. Many thanks, Chiswick Chap (talk) 10:06, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- More seriously, a lot of these edits seem to be adding religious categories with zero support in the text or sources of the article. As such they violate WP:EGRS and I am minded to mass-rollback the lot of them instead of taking the effort to hand-check whether a few might be worth saving. —David Eppstein (talk) 05:46, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Ron Mael, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
