Hi. I did not mean to crash your party: My apologies for my apparent ineptitude. On reversion however I've re-done the items which brought us into inadvertant conflict, but I'm not too happy about it because it is in the wrong order for the style of the recalcitrant piece on life-support. I would appreciate it if you would therefore re-look at it as previously requested in my other posts and set matters to rights as appropriate. I'm sorry I can't sign this post properly due to concerns about privacy and also because the publically funded anonymous access terminal I am currently accessing will not permit cookies so I can't come up as a login even although I am one.81.19.57.130 16:32, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, what exactly are you wanting me to do? --Jonnty (talk) 22:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
I would have liked you to revert and re-do the section. As it is I've rekeyed my corrections and explanatory comment. If you can and want to do better, as by way of display or sequencing, feel free. I think it is dumb to have the honours in oldest to latest order, whilst the article is from the present to the past. The honours sequence also does not admit of the fact that there is an embedded special to general sequence. If the whole was set off in scrolls, in the style, which actually appears on a British Regimental Colour it might be clearer, but I'm easy on that and don't know how to achieve that object anyway; so I just have to plod on with my one fingered skill for the moment at least getting the basic facts reported correctly.81.19.57.130 16:19, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea about the SAS, and seeing as others have contributed, reversion isn't possible. You seem to be very knowledgeable on the subject: you're the person who should be editing it, not me. --Jonnty (talk) 21:13, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion notice
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Finball requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 21:00, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
The article Finball has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-signficant/non-important web content, organization and individuals. To wit: A game and the U. of St Andrews kiddos playing it for all of one month before this vanity/NFT article was created about them/it constitutes an "organization" as well as self-aggrandizement of "individuals" for purposes of A7, in my book, and as no sources about this can be found other than this WP article, it is clearly also pure "web content". In all three cases, there is no indication of importance/significance. Previous bogus attempt at suggesting notability, now deleted, was "not credible".
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Intelligentsium 00:24, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Finball. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Finball. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

The article Riccarton Primary School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't make a claim to notability; does not seem notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tagishsimon (talk) 19:52, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
