DS Alert Balkans / Europe

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Balkans or Eastern Europe. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

A while back you accidentally got a couple of articles deleted ...

Hello, on 23 October 2011 (UTC), you marked two pages for deletion, Hostage Barricade Team and Neighbourhood police post (then at "Neighbourhood Police Post"), so you could move them from upper-case to lower-case titles. However, you marked the actual *articles* for deletion rather than the lowercase redirects, so Fastily went and deleted the articles (example). I restored them and redirected Hostage Barricade Team to Crisis negotiation and just left Neighbourhood police post as it was (after moving it to a lowercase title). I found this situation while checking the deleted contributions of Raul654 after doing a history merge on one of their earlier articles, "The Stars and Stripes Forever", as he created the "Hostage Barricade Team" page; I found the ""Neighbourhood Police Post"" situation while checking your deleted contributions from the same day as the ""Hostage Barricade Team"" page. I hope you haven't managed to stealthily delete any other articles ... :-) Graham87 (talk) 12:58, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

@Graham87 Wow. I'm so glad you caught that! Jojalozzo (talk) 13:07, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

Feedback request: Francesca Albanese

Hi, if it's appropriate to make an informal feedback request I'll make one here.

If you could review these recent changes I'd appreciate it.

Unfortunately this is a highly contentious topic so be aware of that as well as the fact that there is ongoing discussion regarding this. For those reasons I would understand if you don't want to get involved but an outside perspective would be appreciated, even if not in great detail. Anything helps, cheers.
