Cohen/Cruse ruse
I have some proven information concerning Jonathan. If you are still interested, please contact me. Thx 16:00 18 Dec 2012 Fujix100 (talk) 21:59, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Fujix100
- I see your posting on the talk page of the ruse discussion. Will see if anyone else is interested, but not sure why your information is really necessary or what the point of this info is. Thank you. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 23:06, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Hey JoannaSerah - Vivisel here! :) Two quick things on this issue.
- I note that after you edited the page for Congregation Gemiluth Chassodim an unregistered user came in and removed just the part about Jonathan Cohen not having been an actual rabbi. IP is from Vermont, so doesn't fit with the "ruse" perpetrator's usual FL/LA IPs, but worth discussing whether that line belongs on the page. If so, the edit should of course be reverted. My inclination would be to include; it's been covered by multiple local news sources. ([1], [2]) Agree?
- Beyond the Jonathan Cohen info issue, if you check the ruse talk page you'll see that I've reverted another recent edit that seems clearly related to all of this. Just a heads up! -- Vivisel (talk) 05:50, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- I saw where you edited the ruse info page. Thank you for still keeping watch. I know that some involved with the congregation might want to take his name out completely, but feel that since he did actually lead the group (albeit, deceitfully) and has coverage in multiple media, he should still be mentioned in the list and in the "History" section (instead of the "Today" section as we had). I reverted that IP edit on the grounds of unexplained deletion of cited info. If I get reverted again, will probably need to discuss on that talk page. If it happens too much, we might need to seek semi-protection for that page, but don't think that's necessary yet. Thank you. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 14:46, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
- All sounds good. Will keep watch! Thanks! --Vivisel (talk) 10:29, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
