[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures) , as you have to the article Sulaiman Al-Fahim, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Sulaiman Al-Fahim. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. If you need help developing reliable sources, please respond here and I will be happy to help; please do not continue adding poorly sourced information to the article. - I did find a good source for your reference on his position as a Goodwill Ambassador for iimsam, but not the other assertions. If you want to readd it, copying and pasting this will produce a proper reference:
- <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.iimsam.org/images/IIMSAM%60S%20OFFICIAL%20PR%20GWA%20DR%20S.pdf|title=IIMSAM’s Goodwill Ambassador DR. AL FAHIM HONOURED AT CSR FORUM FOR MONUMENTAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIETY|location=Dubai, UAE|publisher=IIMSAM|date=2009-01-10|accessdate=2009-11-12}}</ref>

- Jessica, your edits are generally in violation of the WP:POV guidelines, which is why they keep getting reverted. You need to rewrite your prose in an unbiased way, or this will keep happening, and you'll eventually get nailed on a WP:3RR violation. Beyond that, if you're going to revert, at least revert to versions of the page that incorporate my changes (that soften the POV portions of some sections and fix a few syntax errors). You don't own the page, and shouldn't be reverting the page to your preferred version repeatedly in the face of numerous objections. --ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 15:19, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Edit war
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; according to the reverts you have made on Sulaiman Al-Fahim. With this edit you blindly reverted to "your" version of the page. In doing this you duplicated information, removed correct formating and introduced bias to the article. Users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. You should discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. On your use of sigs
[edit]I've noticed you've been neglecting to include the timestamp on your signatures in talk pages. It's probably just an oversight; three tildes (~~~) produces an undated sig, four (~~~~) produce a dated sig, like so:
- ~~~: —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk)
- ~~~~: —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 17:46, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
The SineBot adds the date anyway, but it's uglier and clutters the page history unnecessarily. Just remember to use four instead of three in the future. Three is really only for undated notices on your own user and user talk pages or when you are providing a link to your own pages for some reason that doesn't require a real signature, per WP:SIG. To be clear, this isn't a warning, or even an admonishment, if you've been intentionally not providing the full sig it's odd, but not a violation of the rules (and it's much better than not signing at all). I just wanted to let you know so if it's an accident you could correct it. —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 17:46, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
