Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dominus Vobisdu (talk) 00:42, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but using Wikipedia to advertise or promote your organization in any way is strictly forbidden. The external links section is supposed to be only for links pertaining VERY directly to the subject matter of the article. I'm afraid that genealogical links are rather irrelevant, even if they contain some history. Not that I have anything against your organization. Quite the contrary. Good luck with it! About your proposal on my talk page, I'm going to refer you to two more experienced editors with more experience on Polish towns. You can try contacting them on their talk pages and explaining the situation to them. They are user:piotrus and user:kotniski. They should be able to explain to you in greater deatail what is and what is not allowed. Good luck! Dominus Vobisdu (talk) 06:44, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Fantastic! Good luck with your organization! Dominus Vobisdu (talk) 07:12, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear about the blacklisting. It wasn't me. Your mass edits must have triggered some other editor's alarms. I would prefer that you contact piotrus and kotniski, especially kotniski, whose out resident expert in Polish geography. They have a lot more experience about the niceties of WP policy in this case. They're both really good editors, so they will give you the best advice. Nothing to be shy about; they'll appreciate that you took the matter to them. Good luck!
