Apology
[edit]I get that I can have an abrasive personality on wiki so I apologise if I came off as rude during our past encounters. The History Wizard of Cambridge (talk) 11:02, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- Huh? I don't think at all. Don't let the ANI comments get to you. I have no idea what they are talking about. Jagmanst (talk) 11:12, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
About Indian scepters
[edit]I would request and suggest to visit still under-construction draft article Indian sceptre in my user-space. You can share your inputs at it's talk page, if you find that interested in.
- Soon enough if not later I am likely to share my understanding of various contested aspects and misunderstandings surrounding the Sengol crafted by Vummidi Bangaru Chetty in 1947 and currently installed in India's New Parliament House at present Talk:Sengol.
- Since "rest of" Sengol history - other than 1947 Sengol- I am likely to cover in still under-construction comprehensive draft article Indian sceptre; hence at some point of time I am likely to introduce RfC discussions for change of title and limit article scope of present article Sengol to "a gold sceptre installed in the Parliament of India" as I have already discussed my concerns at that talk page.
Thanks Bookku (talk) 13:07, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- Oh nice. Looks like you have a good article under construction. The current article Sengol can be limited to the specific sengol installed in parliament. Jagmanst (talk) 13:48, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]- I always recommend WP:DDE protocol, even very experienced users seem to miss this protocol many times.
Last but not least,
- a) Always give some extra time to study and understand nature of the platform first before using it, this helps saving our own time and energy.
- b) Make a point we all Wikipedians are here to collaborate on content hence priorities content in the discussions.
- c) Segregate and delineate content issue and personal behavior issues very clearly. Any mixing up can be self defeating. On article talk or other dispute resolution and project t/p pages clearly focus on content and not behavior. -
- d) - If you find serious behavioral concerns note down in your sandbox or off line on your own desktop first, second let know the user on their user talk page without using accusative attitude with fair chance to WP:Refactor/ correct - if behavioural problem persist point it out to admin then ANI then ARE and last ARBCOM. Your time and energy is very valuable to you then, just don't waste time and energy in discussing personal behavior issues where content is supposed to be discussed.
- e) Don't mix up and just go step by step. Watch list and read and just observe lot more dispute resolution pages to follow dispute resolution of such cases where you are uninvolved (i.e. not involved)
