Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tima formosa has been reverted.
Your edit here to Tima formosa was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/508464629218479/videos/10201426942502481/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Control copyright icon Hello Jacob de Joe, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Cillenus lateralis have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moneytrees🌴Talk🌲Help out at CCI! 16:01, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I also removed your additions to Ran Qiu due to copyright issues. Please be mindful of copyright. Moneytrees🌴Talk🌲Help out at CCI! 16:08, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Golund-e Olya. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Hello Jacob de Joe, just a note to say that I removed some of your Wikispecies template additions, for example at Diospyros perfida. Those ones lead to an empty Wikispecies page. [edit]

Hello. I'm a little concerned by the references you are adding to articles. Several I have checked do not support the claims being made. Maplandia also appears to be an inappropriate site to link to as it mostly contains adverts. In all honesty, it looks like you may be using Wikipedia for SEO purposes. Could you explain what you are doing? Number 57 15:43, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Having looked a bit more into your contributions, I am concerned enough that I have raised that matter at WP:ANI here. Number 57 16:15, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please couuld you explain your additions of (a) spammy map websites (b) citypopulation.de links that do not refer to the settlements being referenced (c) non-existent wikispecies links. If you do not respond, you will be blocked. Also, you should not be adding references to other language Wikipedias. Number 57 20:32, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,so in that case, can you give in brief comments about what i can shareJacob de Joe (talk) 12:43, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Could you answer the question above about why you were adding links to such websites, and particularly why you were adding references to citypopulation.de when the website did not contain the information in question. Number 57 20:29, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, it can be reference for iran country itself, I as a new reader will be pleased to be more guidelines, any issues for this city population? Can you please give me more details, in what kind of website I cannot share? As this one I also refer to others wikipedia pages, they also share the same stuffs, if I made mistake I apologized, not to mean to troublesome others.Jacob de Joe (talk) 23:40, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you add a reference, it needs to support the statements in the sentence you are adding it to. The references you were adding to citypopulation.de did not do this. For example, here you add a citypopulation.de reference to Nematabad-e Ghar. However, that link contains no information about Nematabad-e Ghar.
You should not be adding references from random map websites that exist purely to collect ad revenue (and all the ones you have been adding are now on a spam blacklist).
You should also not add links to Wikispecies where the corresponding article does not exist.
Personally I would advise stopping adding references (unless there is a citation needed tag) and instead focus on adding content. As it appears English is not your first language, it may be easier for you to do this on another language version of Wikipedia. Number 57 09:54, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Bro for all the useful guidances. Jacob de Joe (talk) 02:27, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
