Page blanking
[edit]I notice that you simply blank the page, but this is not considered the best practice. As the page history is kept available for future reference, archiving one's own user talk page is optional, but it makes things more easier to find and link. See how to archive a talk page. --Robertiki (talk) 14:09, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Center Park, Texas
[edit]Thanks for creating the article Center Park, Texas! I'm having trouble adding references for this. Is it possible you meant Center Point, Kerr County, Texas?--Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:37, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- In the same vein, I'm having trouble finding Fink, Texas in Coleman County. However, there is a small town named Fink in Grayson County. I'm going to change the article. If you can come up with a reference for one in Coleman County, let me know and we can make a disambiguation page for the two towns.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:41, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

Hello, Jacktime34. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Center Park, Texas, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

National varieties of English
[edit]In a recent edit to the page Villa Park, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Sakuura Cartelet Talk 15:36, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

I apologize
[edit]Hi Jacktime34, I apologize for what happened yesterday. A guy in my orchestra took my laptop when I was using the restroom and tagged it. I also apologize for the false warnings that followed, including one which called it an attack page. How he knew what attack pages were? I have no clue. I know that he went back and undid the first one and warned you about vandalism, when you went on my talk page. He also undid the notices you put on my talk page. He said that you personal attacked him which was not true, and the page was poorly written, but not vandalism and not a test page. However, to point out, yes I can warn you and have the right to do so. It is also required before you report an user to admins. You have been warned by other people. Disambiguation link notification for April 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited North Korea–United States relations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Korean. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article List of Austria international footballers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- We already have the categories Category:Austrian footballers and Category:Austrian expatriate footballers. What additional value is this list going to add?
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jake Brockman (talk) 21:31, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Jacktime34, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Rabbit have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. RivertorchFIREWATER 02:23, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
Your contributed article, 2017 canton texas tornado
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2017 canton texas tornado. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – April 2017 North American storm complex. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at April 2017 North American storm complex. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Skamecrazy123 (talk) 19:54, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
